We just got into town. 30 minutes before they closed. We got our order fast and accurate. Very friendly. And tasty.

On 07/29/20 at 1:30pm I took my family out to lunch at the Jonathan's Family Restaurant. We ordered our food and when it was brought out to us my 13 yr old daughter (who has server respiratory issues) pulls the spoon out of the napkin and shows me that it was dirty so i asked the waitress if we could get another one. She brings out another set of silverware and my daughter pulls the spoon out and again the spoon was dirty. I made my family get up from the table and we left. I called to talk to the owner and after me telling her that with the pandemic going on you'd think that your restaurant would take extra precautions to assure that their customers are safe and in a clean and sanitized environment the owner then called me "WHITE TRASH" this place is not only a health risk to public but a place that slanders their customers.

Jonathan's Family Restaurant is a place where everyone knows each other. A friendly, comfortable restaurant with rice pudding or jello included with your meal. Not hip or trendy, but good food for regular people. My sweetie had the the rib tips and noodles(Fri. Special), the meat was good and tender, it had large mushrooms, onion pieces, and tomatoes that gave it a different but good taste. I had fish and chips dinner, with over sized fries and unfortunately, not so great oily deep fried fish. My coleslaw was creamy and good, my baby's salad was fresh. Coffee was hot, fresh, and tasty. Great service, friendly staff, nice customers. Nice family diner.

Neighborhood hole in the wall that's cheap and quick if you're hungry. Biscuits and gravy are decent. I wouldn't recommend the corn beef hash-it's from the can. Everything else I've had for breakfast, lunch or dinner has been tasty.
