Review Johnnie's Bakery - Canton

This used to be out second favorite donut shop definitely a great donut! Now they charge $20 a dozen for below supermarket donut taste they were awful! We threw all but 2 donuts away they tasted old, hard to chew And it's so sweet now! Everything bis different! Definitely dissatisfied!

Great bakery, with good prices. It's been around so long it's become a Canton landmark and it's obvious why. They aren't fancy or upscale, they're just a great bakery.

Called the Thursday before Mother's Day, for a brunch I was hosting on Saturday. The woman that answered the phone was super sweet (obvious joke... because it's a bakery) and incredibly helpful. The cupcakes were EXACTLY as I hoped and ready when promised. Highly recommend! They also have homemade dog biscuits, made my boys happy too.

Johnnie's has always came through for me every time I have them do my Son's Birthday Cake. Good job as always Guys and keep up the good work. I will definitely be coming back.

Yummy! When my husband and I travel we are always looking for a small local bakery that knows how to do it right when it comes to doughnuts. This place is awesome. Got a few of each doughnut. Regret not getting more.

I'm so excited and also amazed!!! The ladies here did a wonderful job on my daughter cake. It only took one day it was finished.. I have loved Jonnies since I was a kid, in fact I insisted my graduation cake had to come from there almost 30 years ago so that tells you how long I have been a customer. I always rave about how amazing everything from this bakery is and am more than willing to drive 30-40 minutes just to grab something amazing to bring home for the family as it is not as frequent as it use to be. But yesterday I stopped in to get some donuts and cookies as a surprise treat for the kids and my hubby and could not have been more disappointed! The lady waiting on me acted as if I was a complete bother to have to wait on, she was trying to rush me and kept turning her back to me as if I was taking way too long to make a choice! I spent almost $27 on cookies and donuts as a walk in customer. I'm very sad about this she was so rude I just kept apologizing for taking time to ask what flavor something was because she was so bothered by having to wait on me. I'm not sure I will be raving so much anymore the cookies and donuts were great but as graduation and big birthdays are coming for my oldest and his friends I wouldn't want to suggest or recommend our friends go somewhere and be treated as a inconvenience. So sad when a place you have loved since childhood lets you down. I never post complaints but this really upset me.

Hands down the best place in Stark county for doughnuts cookies cakes. It is amazing and the staff is great. I love going in there!

Best glazed donuts anywhere. I moved to Columbus 20+ years ago and still stop though when in town or ask visiting relatives to bring them with them when coming to visit. I've even introduced them to others who never lived near Canton who now end up making orders when someone they know is going through town.
