One of my favorite local spots. Great beer and food. The Kensington Salad is the best. When it's nice you can sit outside and there's a fire pit to keep warm. The inside can make you feel kind of outside with the large open doors. The staff is a pleasure too.

Great place! They have a decent selection of beer of tap, as well as other drinks, but the food and atmosphere, especially the outdoor patio, is what sets this place apart and makes it a local favorite. The outdoor patio, which is dog-friendly, is large and has a fire pit, offering the perfect destination to kick back and enjoy the weather. They have an expansive selection of unique assortment of flatbreads and often specials, such as mini crab cakes, shrimp bruschetta and lobster bisque during Lent.

We love Royal docks and it is tradition to stop in on Christmas Eve for a snack and a Yuletide beer. The Roasted Red Pepper and Gouda soup was delicious. Also loved the oysters and pretzel with beer-cheese dipping sauce.

Royal Docks has somehow become a Canton staple for beer. I've tried both the canned version and I've had their beer in the taproom. While it's definitely not bad, it's not that great either.
This is very much a run of the mill craft brewery. If you're coming for what you believe "craft beer" is, you've likely stumbled into the correct place. They have a nice variety of beers to choose from and sometimes have aged beers as well. Those tend to be the better of the options from my experience.
The taproom itself is fairly decent. Nicely furnished open air facility. The food was pretty good, nothing to phone home about. I had a flatbread that I found to be pretty tasty.
I think there are definitely better beer options in our area, I'm not sure how Royal Docks became a go to, but maybe it's just not my thing.

Amazing summer time patio. The backyard crusher is a Fantastic Sumer time beer light and refreshing. As an ipa guy the are ok but the crusher is the star of the show

The drinks were awesome and so was MOST of the food. The boneless chicken wings though? How can you even call them that. More like nasty chicken meatballs with a weird texture. Definitely not real chicken. Not sure how they get away with serving those as boneless "wings" for 8 dollars.

The food and beer were excellent. The service was quite good and our food and drinks were quickly served. They pretty much only have flatbreads which are pretty good. The only thing that tainted our time there was how the manager chose to awkwardly handle an order mixup at at our table of 10.

Found a few new favorites- Backyard Crusher, Pendragon and the Cherry Jam all so smooth and refreshing! The Dill is worth a try. Staff were friendly and prompt. A wonderful outdoor space! I can't wait to return.
