First time stopping. We were greeted with a friendly hello! The food was reasonably priced and delicious! The dinning area and bathroom were very clean. The owners take pride in their business and it is obvious!! We will definitely stop again!!! We had a cheesesteak with fried onions, french fries and the Sriracha burger and sodas from the cooler. Delish!!

A terrific cafe with a nice hometown atmosphere. The veggie omelet was terrific and potatoes were delicious. I loved the flavors of the potatoes. Coffee was great also. Our new breakfast/lunch place.

Excellent quality food with affordable prices! We went twice while on vacation in the Poconos and we would’ve went every single day had they not been closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Everything from breakfast to lunch to their incredible desserts were spot on-fresh, flavorful and delicious. This place is a MUST! Owner was super friendly and service was great! This is our new go to spot in the Poconos!

I've never been disappointed in anything I've ordered here. The food is great, the are too. Try the chocolate cherry bread pudding when they have it! It's AMAZING!!

WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! So happy I discovered this place on my trip to the Poconos! This place is so cute! The area downstairs to the left of the cafe has such a cozy and warm atmosphere, perfect for a family breakfast! The worker there immediately set a table for us and the service was great! Coffee was freshly brewed and the food was very tasty!

My sister took me to this gem of a cafe while we were visiting her in the Poconos. The food for all three of us was delicious! The owner/cook (though I suspect he does everything) was very friendly. The atmosphere is very bright and cozy. Perfect for starting the morning on the right foot! Will definitely be back.

Greeted the second I walked in, my experience at First Place Cafe was a great one. The man who took my order was kind, helpful, and funny. The woman who made my food has a talent: her breakfast potatoes are delightful, and the omelet was yummy too. Someone said I’m their review that they had amazing coffee, and they were right. I was fully prepared to be disappointed (at comparable places at home the food is good but the coffee is always bad), and was really pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is warm & inviting and the group of regulars make you feel like you’re in a book. If you’re in the area, definitely worth stopping in for a bite whether it’s dine in or take out!

Perfect stop to eat outside of skytop lodge. Close and decent pricing. Deli/hot sandwich type of eatery. Customer service is very good. You can tell the owners care.
