Review Thai Palace Restaurant - Camp Hill

Thai Buffet, need I say more? Who does this? And why dont more places do this. I love being able to try all the dishes and expand my horizons and waist. I really enjoyed my visit, and will go back. This buffet is a great way to introduce people to Thai Food!

Food was awesome! We went around 5 on Saturday evening and it was not crowded. More customers arrived around 6. It took quite a while for our meala to arrive. Not sure if that is due to each dish being made fresh? The portions were nice sized. Ultimately we would return again.

The SLOWEST experience. They were unprepared for a party of 14 who had reservations, and it showed. We waited for well over an hour after ordering. I made my disappointment known to the waitress, and she apologized but nothing more. I witnessed other folks leaving after 2 hours but before their food was prepared. Some people who ordered online had been waiting for over an hour, as was a delivery driver. I advised everyone that they may wish to forgo their food if they hadn't already paid. Eventually, after my food finally did arrive, the server brought my wife a small plate from the buffet. Personally, I think after it became clear to the staff that no food was going to be delivered any time soon, some offer of, perhaps, 1/2 off the buffet price could have been put forward. In any case, I won't be returning. There are plenty of other restaurants near the area to choose from. And please take note, I have eaten there previously and was pleasantly anticipating another trip. I won't be returning.

One of my local favorites. The Sunday buffet changes from week to week but never disappoints. Buffet has a soup bar and phad thai bar. Fantastic all around. BYOB, so bring a bottle of wine!

Went with work friends for the lunch buffet. There were pork, shrimp and vegetarian options in the buffet but I found those vegetarian options somewhat limited. Had pineapple fried rice and red curry vegetables. The staff was friendly and the others in the group were satisfied with their choices but that didn't override the feeling of not quite getting my money's worth. Will try again just to see if things were different.

Food quality has been degraded since 2015 when I last visited this place. However still the only thai buffet I have came across so far.

Lunch buffet without ordering a drink turns out to be $15.85. The food quality is not that good and they only bring out a little at a time. Most items on the buffet bar either empty or has very little meat. Not sure if I walked in to a vegetarian buffet place or I must have missed out something. If you are planning to have lunch buffet here make sure you bring something to read or a movie to watch. Trust me, it takes FOREVER for them to refill their buffet bar and you’ll have to rush to get your food. Otherwise patience is your friend and good luck getting your food.

Love Thai palace for the lunch buffet! Always hot fresh, delicious food!!!! Flavors are all individual...nit like some where the flavors blur together. Highly recommend this for lunch! Hopefully they will bring back the dinner buffet! Building needs a little up dating but the taste of the food far exceeds expectations.
