Review Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Camp Hill

Came for lunch and was asked if I was there to pick up food. I said no. I received no greeting or anything, but an employee who was visibly annoyed barged past me, saying "I'm locking the door." When she came back she did not say hello or even acknowledge my existence despite walking right past me. Do you really think this is an appropriate way to greet customers? There is no sign on the door stating your dining room is closed, and yet they act like as a customer you are unwelcome. The dining room is a mess, with dirty tables and boxes everywhere. On top of all this, the prices on the signs above the register do not reflect the actual food prices, which are higher. When my total came out higher than expected based on the posted prices, I asked why it was so high. I pointed at their prices next to their menu items, and was told "oh those are not our prices." Okay....so what are they?? The woman who took my order expected me to pay without telling me what the actual prices of the items I ordered were. I had to ask more than once to get an answer. I left with okay food, and won't be coming back. To management: Do not respond asking for more details, as you have all the necessary information to make changes. Update your posted prices, clean up your dining room, and train your staff appropriately to be friendly and welcoming. Post appropriate signage if necessary. Customer service is #1!

We stopped in to get smoothies but when our kids desperately needed to use the bathroom they were both out of order. The place was also filthy in the dining room. Pill capsule container on the ground, trash strewn around, an employees abandoned lunch, and we were the only ones in there. The employees were kind but overall it feels run down.

The dinning room had papers everywhere, I ordered a smoothie the two people behind me who ordered wraps and smoothies got theirs prior to me. Things I noticed just standing by the counter waiting for my smoothie include: food on the kitchen area floor including banana, lettuce, tomatoes etc., table was not cleaned after in dinning customers finished and left, food prep employee did not wear gloves when making food, wrap grill did not work properly, employee had to constantly press door closed so it would run and the list goes on. I had waited enough and just asked for my money back, they asked what I ordered and said they would make it. I got the smoothie and it tastes like 95% ice/water. This place should get a negative rating with zero stars. Never ever going back and will be sharing with the locals. These doors need closed forever for the safety and health of the public.

Such friendly staff. AMAZING wraps. Delicious smoothies. They even have choices for the kids. It's a place the whole family can go. Unfortunately their menu is NOT very diabetic friendly which limits what diabetics can order.

I love Tropical Smoothie but this place was disgusting. Trash overflowing onto the floor. Awful service. The food was terrible. They had the bathrooms closed. I have no idea why these people own a business when cleanliness, quality, and service are clearly an inconvenience to them. I think the Health Dept needs to pay them a visit pronto. I will not be back.

Long wait time!! Customers who came in after me left with their food pretty quickly. I finally decided to ask where my lunch was. I assume they forgot. They made it quick and gave it to me. It was cold!!!! I waited 30 mins for a cold bacon chicken wrap. Disappointed. And i was late returning to work.

The place has potential for sure. The breakfast sandwich was bland and too much cheese. The smoothies were huge but used too much yogurt and not enough fruit. Interior is in dire need of cleaning, more comfortable seating, and painting. Exterior is falling apart with giant holes in the walls. Overall has potential to be a great spot for beach food without the beach...

Just bought a 6.00 cup of blended ice cubes with a slice of strawberry and banana for color. Absolutely 0 flavor. I'd prefer the smoothie but I guess I'll have to settle for Rita's so I can taste it.
