Review Brew House Grille - Camp Hill

Wow. This place looks so unassuming from the outside (and inside with its old style tables, chairs, and laminated menus) so we didn’t expect gourmet food. We were shocked at how good everything was. We got the lobster Mac to start off and sheesh - it was full of meat and was a huge portion for $16. We also got mozzarella moons that were very delicious and $10. We didn’t get good pics of these because we were starving. For entrees we got the pan seared salmon which was so tender, juicy, and flaky. It was served with wilted spinach and a crab and asparagus risotto. Incredible and a HUGE portion of salmon. We also got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich with fries and it was also a huge portion. The fries were sooo crispy and delicious, especially with their ranch. The chicken fillet made the bun look comically small. The bun was a little soggy but the sandwich was still delicious. Prices are on point and our waitress was incredible. We can’t wait to come back!

The Brewhouse has a great menu with many choices to explore. Ordered the jambalaya and the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn. Both dishes came with a salad, caesar with the meatloaf, and house with the jambalaya. Both salads were plentiful. The meals were also plentiful. The jambalaya was very tasty and had scallops, shrimp, ham, and crawdad pieces in a rich broth with rice and green onions on top. Delicious. The meatloaf came with mashed potatoes and a kind of grilled corn which was very good. The waitstaff was very attentive and courteous. The only thing I found lacking was the noise level in the forward dining area. This is a place worth a visit for the food.

Stoped in for a bite and beer. Was surprised looked like a dive but great sports bar. Busy for a Monday too. The menu was fairly diverse for bar food. I had trouble deciding. Went with my go to and got the Reuben. They did not skimp out on incredients the sandwhich was as think as you could make it. Very good.

I'm never disappointed! The blue burger is one of the best I've had! The only complaint I have is that you can no longer smoke at the outside bar. As a smoker, I don't understand how smoking outside is an issue. Other than that, it's a great place to grab dinner or lunch!

Super great service and amazing food! Great atmosphere too.

I have eaten here a couple of times. Food is good. Staff are eager to help you and get whatever you want. I have eaten the crab burger, and the fish and chips on Fridays. Both are very very good. Their prices are comparable to most places. They have a good menu, and drink selection. If you are in the area and want a good experience, I recommend coming here.

Outside Seating, remember there might be insects, if that concerns you. Good Food, Good Service. Average Prices. Will go again.

Love this place. Large menu which is often a sign of not the best food but everything I have tried has been great. Outdoor bar has a great atmosphere and they always have both food and drink specials. Great draft beer selection is a plus too!

Has this place gone downhill. The last time we went to the BrewhouseGrill for the AYCE crab legs was about a year ago. They were always freshly cooked, bright red, seasoned with Old Bay and tasty. We went for the crab legs last night. What a difference a year makes.

First surprise or warning; the place was nearly empty at 6:30 PM and stayed that way. It had always been packed with reservations needed if you wanted to avoid a long wait. The next surprise was the crab legs. The first batch was cold and grey. The shells were mushy and foldable. They should provide scissors instead of nutcrackers. Clearly they had been sitting around In cold water for quite a while. Maybe that was just a fluke. But no, that’s what we got throughout the meal. Overall, the crab legs were right up (or should I say down) there with a crappy Chinese buffet.

My biggest mistake: Not asking for fresh crabs. After all, they were not charging us less for a poorly cooked product.

Pluses: Great service from Kayleigh and a decent beer selection.
MINUS: The food.

What a shame!

6 times to many. I have been here 6 time to many!! First & second time was great (right when they opened first day), even the third time was not to bad! The 3 time were when the first opened one 3 months later, and they were good. Have been there 3 other times and each once a year and have had a bad experience each time I was there! I REALLY dislike it from the snooty employees, to the boring food! So everything about it's food, staff, customer service didn't impress me at all! But like I always say give it a try yourself!

Great food, eh on the inside atmosphere. Food was very good for this type of restaurant. But unlike many bar & grill restaurants it appears this place actually makes most of their food rather than using the stock food service stuff. The place is known for its beer selection, which is indeed quite good. I decided to order something beyond my norm and went for the seafood jambalaya, while my wife decided to go traditional with the turkey club. For appetizer, the loaded fries were some of the best loaded fries I've had in the area ... the fresh tomatoes were an excellent touch. The seafood jambalaya was wetter, i.e. soupier, than I anticipated, but the seafood was cooked perfectly (no chewy scallops here!) and bits of ham and andouille sausage brought everything together nicely. I very much enjoyed the dish. My wife's turkey club contained very good turkey. The house-made salad dressings were a bit lacking and my wife didn't care at all for the Italian dressing. The tiramisu missed the mark too, (too wet -- more like a mousse than a cake) however, their berry mascarpone cake was quite good -- dense in texture yet light in flavor.

This place was packed on nice spring Wednesday night -- mostly the large outdoor deck. We opted to be inside, even knowing that the place is a little dingy -- you can tell they have little interest in making an "atmosphere" but rather focus on the food and beverage. Our server was great and attentive in spite of the busyness. We liked our food a lot in comparison to similar-style restaurants in the area and will definitely be back.

Still the same ol' crap. I've probably tried this place 5 or 6 times since it's opened, due to it having a great beer selection, and being so close to home. Unfortunately, from a week after it opening till now, the food and service have been consistently poor. Cold food to cold staff, over priced and poor quality. Fortunately, Wegnams is on the way home from work, so I can get my beer from there now. No need to go back to this place that should have gone out of business years ago.

Awesome. From the crab/spinach dip and keg rolls to the beer to the salads and the entree---EXCELLENT. Matt was our server and he along with all the other staff members were great and they all had each others back. Not fancy inside which I believe have them to ability to keep the prices beyond reasonable. Shrimp & scallops on an entree selection for less than $20?? Awesome!! Wish we could have sat on the new outdoor deck but chilly in October. WILL return when we travel back to see our son run in Gettysburg.

Impressive beer selection. Happy hour till 7. Staff was very knowledgable of menu and beer selection. In town on business, ate there two nights. Consistent food and service.

Food is a B. Not fond of the fries. Amazing beer tap selection. I wish this location was a little more convenient. A great place for a beer and a tasty sandwich.

Went there this evening, we were only table inside and the server neglected us. We had to get our own silverware and side plates. The food came out by a food runner and he auctioned the food off to our table, which is unacceptable. And the food was sub-par at best. This place has significantly went down hill.

Worst waitress I've had in years Adrienne. Ask for another server if you want a great meal.

Club Sandwich!. Their club sandwiches are awesome! The patio has a great atmosphere. Also, corn chowder is delish!

Great food and BEER! (outside smokers). Good draft beer select! Good food. Love the Ahi Tuna and Pulled Pork sandwhich. I seem to have an unfortunate ability to order beer they just ran out of!

Smoking on the deck and adjacent bar are an issue. A recent outdoor lunch had me between three cigarret smokers and a cigar smoker. Just can't enjoy food and drink in a tobacco clooud!!!!

I have to admit I was skeptical walking in, but I was VERY impressed with the beer selection- lambic on tap?? Heaven! I was with two other people and our food choices ran the gamut: wings, club sandwich and gnocci. We were all extremely happy and took home more than we ate. I am visiting and next time I come back to the area I will definitely return here.

Comfortable hang out spot. Nice beer selection, food is good enough, service is usually okay, The live entertainment a few nights a week and the cool crowd of people who hang out there make it worth going.

Brew House Grille. Great place to go have a drink if you don't like the hustle and bustle of downtown. I prefer to sit on the deck out back but the inside is still nice. Good selection of beers to choose from both in bottles and on draft. The food is good as well. I have tried quite a few things on the menu now. I usually go with one of the burgers. The fries alone are worth the stop. I could eat a plate of them and be happy.

I am very glad I attended the Brewhouse Happy Hour Thursday evening. It has been a while since I have been in here and it was exactly as I had remembered. I walked in the front door looking for some friends that I was scheduled to meet and found the bar area packed. This place draws people in on a regular basis and this particular Thursday night was great. Love the great friendly crowd and of course knowing some of the patrons helps. No sign of my friends at the front bar. Off to the outside but enclosed back bar to continue my search. I had to walk through the crowded dining room to get to the back bar. Every table was filled. They are always having some daily dining special. Visit their site by clicking HERE to view their menu and specials. Lovely Brooke I finally arrived at the back bar and guess what happened? Something that I have found to be rare in the bartending department. I was standing behind my by you even though you have your credit card up in th
