Rafters Tavern is a wonderful bar, restaurant and bastion for tourists and locals alike! Molly and Brewster are the best hosts and the welcoming atmosphere cannot be beat. We hosted an amazing event there and even had our parents request to come to Rafters for Trivia on their next visit! We are Rafters fans for life and can't recommend this place enough.

Rafter's Tavern is more than a bar or restaurant, it's a community. Great food and service are just the beginning. I love just coming out to hear music and hang out. When I was new to the area, I made a lot of new friends that way. If you're here for just the weekend, Rafter's is one of the places where can experience some of the Sullivan Catskills magic instantly. Everyone here — owners, servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, even many gusts — they're all committed to making Rafter's a great experience for locals and weekenders alike. They have music every Friday (more solo acoustic), Saturday (more bands) and a fantastic open mic on Sundays.

My daughter and I ate here for lunch on the way to visit Camp Lohikan. We arrived at exactly noon when they opened and were the first ones there. Burgers were delicious.

What a great place, Dawn the bartender is the BEST!!! And the owners Brewster and Molly are to be commended. We had a great time there the 3 nights we stayed at Callicoon NY. Great food and drinks and coolest atmosphere.

The Rafter's Tavern on Upper Main Street, Callicoon, NY, is a treat for the senses hidden in an old bar next to the Callicoon Theater. The drinks, food, & service are spot on. The prices are fantastic for the times & area. Best of all, the evening my husband & I ventured out of our comfort zone, the band, Rich & the Jumpstarts, played a mix of rock & country blues on the outside stage. They are superburb.
I can't wait to return to this oasis.

We had the best time at Rafters! Great food and drinks, super-friendly service and awesome atmosphere. The live music was the icing on the cake...so good! We stayed upstairs in one of the airbnb rooms and that was awesome as well. We fell in love with Callicoon and Rafters Tavern was a large part of that. Can't wait to return and bring friends & family!

Great find on our late weekend getaway. Great service, and they kept the kitchen open past regular hours to accommodate us. We had wings and they were cooked nicely and had a great variety of sauces to choose from...I recommend the garlic parmesan and the mango habanero. Very eclectic and exceptional open mic. Highlight of our trip to Calicoon. We will definitely go back next time we are in town. Maybe even stay at one of the rooms upstairs 😬😱🤫

It's my second home!!!! Love love love the staff, food, and music events. It's like one big family! My favorite meals are the burgers ( the best is mushroom swiss) , rafters salad and the burritos with veggies.
