Food was good and plenty in the portions. Waitress was nice, but the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the young boy that cashed us out was very rude. Most likely will not be back due to that alone.

What set off the favor town is to get the best thing that I find in the restaurant a wonderful plate of deep fried home fries. With a great crunch of every bite I eat at this place anytime I go to my freinds house and his dad works as a chef for thrid shift. You got to love e the owner and staff they make you feel at home. And not to mention they make you laugh a lot with there amazing humor. Go John Boys!!!

We eat here every time we come to town to visit our Airman and grandson. Absolutely love this place. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. So much better than Waffle House

This is probably my favorite breakfast place. A lot of people in Panama City talk about Coram's, which is a great place, but I think John Boys is better. I love the food there and the cooks seem to get everything just right. The staff is nice and the prices are comparable to these type or restaurants.

Always a wonderful experience. The staff are down to earth and always helpful. The food is delicious and always fast. Standard prices from $2.99 for a 1 egg breakfast with grits and toast to the $10.99 pork chop dinner with a tossed salad, french fries and a hot buttered bun.

Quaint small town diner with breakfast food always available if you like "breakfast for dinner" like me. Locally owned. Good food. Good prices. Love the pancakes. Very friendly. Been going there for years.

Do not "bang" the staff...you will be told to go f*#'ck yourself. But they do bring hot coffee in tight jeans so it's worth it .Staff is amazing just ask for Jordan's smile and John's potatoe omlet. Will not leave disappointed 😉

Your typical greasy spoon type restaurant. Staff is always friendly food is good and prices are reasonable. A big plus is that accept most credit and debit cards unlike their nearest competitor.

Good home style cooking at cost I can afford. Friendly staff and clean location. Smoking allowed outside. Covered area, fans to keep cooler but still hot.

Found this diner while looking for Sunday breakfast. What I found was the most welcoming little food place I've been to in a long time. The employees were friendly and so polite. I heard more "thank you" and "yes, mam" without hesitation. No one was standing around, everyone was helping with what needed to be done. The young man that was washing dishes cleaned tables, put up clean dishes and got items like ketchup for customers when the waitresses were busy. The food was good and diner clean, and cost very reasonable. We will be back as many days as we are here. I truly enjoyed the experience. I not only tipped my waitress but the dishwasher also, they gave me more faith in my fellow man regardless of their job, with kindness overflowing.
