We all scream for ice creame. This place is the best place for ice creame in all of Byron Center. As long as there are customers they will be open. My fav was the chocolate chip cookie dough. I dont believe you could go wrong with ice creame.

ice cream was amazing and the staff was lovely!! did not expect to find a gem like this in Grand Rapids but was genuinely impressed! just take their size listings with a grain of salt because the photo that i attached was supposedly a small ;)
Great place for ice cream! Huge selection. Always busy, but quick service. Plenty of place to sit with picnic tables available.
Always great quality and very popular in the community, especially on hot days. The only annoyance is the cash only policy. I think 80% of my ATM usage is pre-Houseman's visits.

Great ice cream! They are usually very busy on summer evenings, so there might be a wait. It's worth it :)
Cash or check only ice cream shop, serving Hudsonville ice cream and Ashby's Sterling ice cream. It also has a lot of options for soft serve, shakes, sundaes, and malts. The wait is usually only a few minutes, and there are ample benches in front or tables in back.

Ice cream was DELICIOUS! The dairy free soft serve vanilla was to die for! I couldn’t tell the difference between that and regular vanilla soft serve! We went on a Sunday night with perfect weather. Everyone must’ve been thinking what we were thinking because there was a long line. Luckily, it went pretty fast. MAKE SURE YOU BRING CASH! No cards accepted.
The employees were very friendly and also trained on how to talk to us about food allergies. They knew which products came into contact with others and shared the ingredients lists so that we could make an informed decision about getting cold ice cream treats for our child with food allergies. I felt comfortable ordering him soft serve with gummy worms in a cup, he has a tree nut and egg allergy.
