Porky's Smokehouse

We worked with Stephen's Kitchen & Catering for our wedding, and we're so glad we did. Stephen worked with us to personalize the menu and presentation to fit our day, and we got so many compliments on the food. Half the family was vegetarian, and everyone left full and happy. My two personal favorites were the hot chocolate station (with all the fix-ins you could want!) and the walkable grilled cheese/ tomato soup cups. We are so grateful we got to work with Stephen, and we can't recommend his business enough.

We had a casual party for 60 people to celebrate our October wedding and the food was all AMAZING! Panko chicken, mac and cheese, pulled pork, parsley potatoes, green beans, salad, and the best corn bread I’ve ever had. Our guests were all very impressed and asking who catered our event. Thank you so much for such a delicious meal! I want to plan another event just to order this food again!!

Wow. Stephen really knocked it out of the park. He did our rehearsal dinner and our wedding. Everything was delicious. Everyone loved it. I highly recommend the perogies and the fried chicken pieces (and of course the mac and cheese). And honestly everything else. There was no iffy item, quality was high across the board. The cookie table looked perfect also. Will use him for any and all future catering needs.

I had Stephen cater our wedding at The Mansion in October of 2019 and I cannot express to you how impressed we were with Stephen. We did a station style set up that was an eclectic blend of our favorite foods. This can pose issues for lesser chefs since you are making everything from chicken and waffles to traditional Italian in one meal, but Stephen NAILED IT. The presentation, staff, and above all the food was phenomenal. When serving Italian food to Italian matriarchs, you take a chance, but Stephen's cooking impressed even the toughest critics. You can go to other places, pay more and receive far less. PLEASE use his services. He really went out of his way to make our day special. Steven was very accommodating throughout the wedding planning process, from setting up the tasting to the last minute menu changes. He and his team made sure the guests were fed, full, and happy. Their strawberry almond salad is delicious and their buffalo chicken egg rolls are to die for. They are a great family friendly, comfort food caterer! Only reason we didn't rate them a 5 star is because we ordered vegetarian meals but when vegetarians asked, they were told there was no vegetarian option. Otherwise, Stephen's Kitchen was fantastic!

We had a great experience using them to cater our wedding. We had carved turkey, beef tips, mashed potatoes, candied carrots, and rolls for the main course. There were meatballs, tomato soup with tiny grilled cheese and a veggie/cheese platter as appetizers. Everything tasted wonderful. The portions were great. The staff were very professional and kind. We had so many guest compliment us on our food choices and so many people commented on how great everything tasted.

My wife and I had Stephens Kitchen and Catering for our wedding reception and we do not regret it one bit. So many compliments from guests saying that it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. The staff were very attentive to the food and flexible with our needs, going above and beyond in many ways. We got the Going South menu option but were able to substitute certain items reasonably. The boneless chicken breasts and Mac n cheese were a favorite. There was plenty of food and plenty leftover.

We used Porky's Smokehouse (Stephen's Catering) for our wedding on April 29, 2017. I had tasted Stephen's food years prior at a wedding and loved it!!! When we went for our tasting, it just did not compare to other caterers we had tried, the food was so good! He has a big selection and everything is homemade! We received so many compliments about how amazing the food was at the wedding and what a great selection we offered our guests! This was a great caterer to work with for our special day, I would definitely use him in the future for other events!
