Perfect socially distanced date. We ordered individual pizza's ate half of each, and took the rest home for leftovers. This was our second visit and it was actually better than the first which I wasn't expecting. I would highly recommend for anyone going by themselves to order the apple pie skillet with a scoop of ice cream, because as you can see, if you go with another person and don't order two, your date will eat it before you can take a picture! WORD TO THE WISE: The server will say "The skillet is hot!", but you should serve yourself a scoop and let it cool down because the dessert will be like liquid lava for the first 10 seconds out of the skillet. 5/5 - Will DEFINITELY go again.

This is the best pizza in Iowa hands down. I’m from Chicago, I’ve been to 45 of the 50 states, and lived oversees for 5 years so my opinion on pizza is well traveled. This pizza rivals anything in the country. We got the Chase’s favorite or something like that. The ricotta cheese put it over the top. The crust is second to none. I come to Iowa to see the in-laws once a year. Let’s just say I’ll be back.

This pizza place is so unique to our area. The pizza is coal fired in a stove that had to be installed with a crane! Everything is made in house and fresh. The crust is amazing! They also have sandwiches, salads, and steaks which I look forward to trying. On Tuesdays, if you purchase a full size pizza or 2 individual pizza's, your child can make their own pizza and get a drink for $2! The service is excellent and I would recommend trying it.

It took forever to get our food and that I couldn’t get a glass of hot water to warm up a bottle for my baby. Our appetizer wings came out long after our pizza, the restaurant was FREEZING. The kids we had with us were shivering because they had it so cold, so cold that our pizza was hot for about 2 minutes after reaching the table. The service was fine but nothing to write home about, they asked if any of us wanted refills as we were getting up to leave. Definitely do not recommend this place I wish there was any thing I could say that was positive about our experience but unfortunately it was just over priced mediocre food in very uncomfortable environment.
