Brixx Wood Fired Pizza

The service I’ve received this morning was amazing! As soon as I walked in the hosts made me feel at home and I sat at the bar and the bartender Taylor was quick and very helpful with explaining the different draft options to me. Taylor and another server Riley were very consistent about talking and having a conversation with me since I came by myself. If you want a restaurant with great service and great company, I would highly recommend.

This was my first visit to Brixx pizza. They have a large selection of beer if that’s your thing. I ordered the Bronx Bomber pizza and it was great, I would highly recommend it. The restaurant was clean with great atmosphere. My server Kenzie was great. She was very friendly and helpful. Next time I’m in Burlington I will stop.

I hate complaining about service or restaurants, but you guys need to get it together. I came this evening and sat down at a hightop in the bar, the bartender was our waitress and she came over and seemed annoyed from the get-go. My friends came, sat down, we ordered drinks, appetizers and food, and apparently for our server, Riley, it was all a huge inconvenience. She said multiple times that they closed at 9 PM, because of the new regulations which we knew already, even though we sat down at 7:40. She couldn’t bother to give my friend five seconds of her time to mention what beers were on draft, because the draft list is a Christmas chalk mural now. We finished our food and drinks and closed out by 8:40 and were signing tickets when Riley decided it was time to turn off all the lights to the restaurant. So we made our way to the door, were hustled out by a male employee who slammed it and locked it at 8:52 and left into the night. The place was dead the whole time we were here. Several of us have worked in the restaurant industry. Get it together, lose the attitude, and don’t treat your customers like they’re annoying you. Your corporate also would probably not be thrilled that employees yelled at people coming in at 8:20 that you were “closing:”

They have just one size. Not enough for two and too much for one. Hmmmm... good marketing...$. Very good pizza. Tasty regulars to some snazzy gourmet stuff,, too.. No matter how hard I try/ask can never get it cooked well done. I would think they just have to scoot it back one-third, or so, on the conveyer, but hey? What do I know? I especially like their pizza because one of the few places I can get a whole wheat crust!

Yesterday afternoon was my first time at Brixx and my server was Katelyn . She was one of the best servers I’ve had in a while. She was very attentive and friendly and I’ll definitely be back to sit in her section. Second I want to thank the manager Webay for coming up to our table to make sure we were okay and for talking to us as if we were more than customers. The atmosphere, the food and the workers are amazing!
