The 5 star rating is for our server Walter!! The food was good- usually that’s the case. However the staff that I’ve encountered in the store ,..the hostess that seated us..just not polite or even friendly for that matter. The problem is, this is not the first time I’ve had this experience. About a month ago my husband and I got up and left the restaurant after finally being seated and treated badly by a hostess -we didn’t wait around to see what kind of server we might have. To the point- Walter is an awesome server! We’ve had the pleasure of having Walter one other time. He is friendly and took care of everything we needed, even though it was obvious he was very busy!! It is refreshing to have great service, and a Genuine Friendly person with a good attitude about what they are doing! Thank you Walter! You are a great asset to Cracker Barrel!

Our Waitress was by far " great " at Her job. But in the back was a different story. Salad and meal all came out at One time after a 20 min wait. Salad was prepared well. But Our Hot Sides were Warm !!! We were forced to direct Our attention to the Meal and basically skip the Great salad. Our waitress did offer a Quick heat up , but at that point we just continued. Timing was all off. Sorry , it Didn't Hit the Mark. 5 star waitress, 3 star dinner.

The server Erica McAlister was very nice, attentive, and hard working. I feel she represents the majority of staff there. I could tell right off the bat that she, and many others, very much enjoyed the work environment. The orders are always spot on, and the managers know why they are there. There was about a 45 min - 1 hour wait, but thats understandable.

Love Cracker Barrel! They have a great selection of items to select from along with breakfast items served all day long. I love that you can mix and match breakfast with lunch and dinner specials. The service is always pleasant and I've never had an order served incorrectly. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service is pretty swift even when they are busy. I also love the giftshop, always something new to see. I only wish they had coupons or a rewards system for their loyal customers.

Brit was my server this morning and recommended me to the country boy breakfast. The sirloin steak was absolutely delicious as well were the hash browns and eggs. Food was hot and cooked to perfection. I hardly ever get to eat at Cracker Barrel because I don’t have one in my city :(. Still blown away from the excellent all around service I experienced. Brit was everything and more of what a server should be! Great recommendation! Thanks Brit and staff!

Based off carry out order: Cons: Waited 45 minutes to get pick up order (believe the wrong costumer got it). Pros: Staff was very kind Manager provided full refund Food was good I won’t be ordering pickup again anytime soon but I want to applaud and thank the staff for their kindness throughout my frustrations. I could feel their empathy. Overall, I will be back simply because of the kindness of the staff. 1/3 UPDATE Increasing my rating to a 4/5 for the customer service!! In addition to all that I said above, they sent me a digital gift card to compensate for the trouble and for me providing a more detailed review. Hoping to be able to update to 5/5 stars after a positive dining experience! Huge shoutout to the local restaurant and headquarters for outstanding, caring customer service. Stuff like that matters just as much (if not more to me personally) than the food itself.
