First time eating at a Vietnamese Restaurant and it was the freshest, tastiest and healthiest food I've ever had!!! So glad we decided to give it a try! Everything way surpassed our expectations! We went for it and got a stir fry, a Pho and both of their rolls oh ya had to throw in the mango salad too!!! Can't wait to drive the hour to get back there for some more of their over the moon delicious food! Plenty for lunch and dinner too! Topped off by a customer service experience that can't be beat! Thank you to the very friendly and kind young gentleman that assisted us in ordering and brought it out to our car! Making myself hungry! May have to make the drive today! Don't hesitate! You will not be disappointed!

Amazing. Right off the bat. Walked in and was immediately greeted by two kind gentlemen (came around mid noon, Friday 05/31/19) and offered to a seat. Asked if they did take out, clerk behind the counter gladly complied. Was shocked at how decently priced the food was, though a little unsure how it was going to be cause Ive never had this kind of food before, and to my great pleasure I got a generous portion for a great price that was simply divine. Fresh, light, flavorful, fast prepared but absolutely skillfully cooked. Absolutely 20/10 service. Would go again and again. Recommend to everyone!!!!

I am a google local guide and a local lover of all things Burlington. And I don't take food lightly as its one of the best parts of this amazing little city.
Pho Hong (pronounced Faa Hong), is a local BYOB Pho restaurant perfect for a fall or winter day when your stomach cant wait for some warm, real food. Pho Hong has extremely friendly and helpful staff, and more than amazing food, I most frequently order the #7 (flanked steak in beef broth), but they have lots more too! Chicken pho, veggie, you name it, they put it in yummy-warm broth and perfectly garnish it! Not a pho person? Thats all good! Pho Hong has you covered, they incorporate other regionally related entrees into the menu for a truly enjoyable culinary experience! If your stomach is not feeling up for their delicious entrees, I cant recommend their pre-entree apitizer menu enough, the crab claw with cream cheese rolls are fresh, compared to the musky taste of the tiger rolls at other restaurants, and as far as egg rolls and spring rolls go, your pretty much covered. BYOB and also a bit of a loud environment as they are usually quite busy, that having been said, there staff are always so nice about the wait time and even cut it short for me once! If your stomach can wait a maximum of 40 minutes, you will be very happy with your well spent 13 dollars.

My friends and family love the food. It’s my go-to spot with friends! It always seems busy, but the staff makes sure you’re taken care of. I highly recommend Pho Hong. My favorite is the 33, but the curry’s are very flavorful also. All the food is great and worth trying.

Pho Hong has an impressive menu. Sometimes you can’t decide on just one dish and even though dining alone, you might just have to have both dishes that’ve peaked your attention 👍🏼. Do it! Order it all 😂. It’s always busy, so be prepared for a little (but worthwhile) wait. BYOB. A must-go for incredibly great food (huge portions), friendly service and fun, bustling atmosphere, no matter the season.

I love this place but after waiting in line outside for 30 minutes (below 30 degrees) to only discover no one in the kitchen was wearing a mask in a global pandemic I left.

An absolutely amazing place with the best Thai food I have ever eaten. Love it and worth any wait (they are incredibly fast BTW) or distance required to get to.
I once drove 3 hrs just to eat here and watch a sunset. The sunset was amazing but the food was what I will always remember.
Keep up the amazing work!!

Called in an order, they said 25 minutes and it was ready in 20. Very friendly folks and the meal was delicious.

Visiting Burlington for the first time and felt like Vietnamese food. The place was packed on a Tuesday evening. You can buy. Everything was fresh and yummy

Get the tiger rolls.... Everything we had was awesome. But the tiger rolls are A Mazing. Service was good and the food comes out super quick.

Back in our little town of Roanoke, the best pho restaurant recently limited their hours, much to our lamenting tummies. We found Pho Saigon just by chance and it became a weekly, post-softball tradition for us. There is nothing like a hearty bowl of noodles to comfort tired muscles. Unfortunately, they are now only open for lunch except on weekends. So, when planning dining out in Burlington, we looked for a good pho place. Enter Pho Hong. And…its famed squid pho!

It's the best in the area with out a doubt. My favorite bowl pho- sure..... Ehhh ohh

Not truly authentic Vietnamese Dishes. My wife and I ordered couple of entrees. They were not really traditional Vietnamese Dishes. Some ingredients were missing or replacing, e. g. you should never see Granite Smith apples used in the real Vietnamese food.
Services were fast and efficient. The restaurant looks clean and pleasant.
If you like the authentic Vietnamese dishes, this restaurant may not be the one.

The food here is absolutely amazing. I'm lucky enough to live right across the street so it's easier to get my panang curry fix! Highly recommended.

My favorite restaurant in Burlington. I am addicted to #14. I literally eat it twice a week. The food it fresh, healthy, and delicious. The staff is great and the place (although definitely not fancy) is light-filled and clean. Highly recommend. Get the #14!

Fresh, Fast and Friendly!. The March 22 review by menpo is not possible as there are not 5 employees there at any one time, thus making it impossible for 5 supposedly wait staff lounging around ignoring his needs.
This place is packed 90% of the time and I have NEVER EVER seen anyone loafing around.
I am a regular and this is by far the best Asian food in the Burlington area at very reasonable prices. Honestly, they don't need to worry about a negative review and the only reason I am writing this is because this individual is absolutely mistaken or just enjoys trashing a hard working families reputation.

My visit was a mixed bag. The beef Pho was good, but the chicken wings were dry and one of the wait staffn actually told me they were probabaly some of the "precooked" wings that had been warmed over!! Also the comments made on the web about the poor service was validaited---I even had to go to the counter and gert my own drink refill!! All while 5 staff members sat gabbibng at the counter

LOVE IT!. I have never had Vietnamese food anywhere else, and now I can't get enough! We eat here every chance we get. Just fabulous!

Excellent food, fast service and great prices. The menu had plenty of options, including vegetarian and everything was large and delicious. Highly recommend.

AMAZING PHO!!!

Super Bun!. This is one of my two favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the greater Burlington area. I frequent this restaurant at least twice a week and I still can't get enough of it. My favorite dishes here are No. 12 which is vermicelli noodles with beef, veges, and peanuts, and No. 13 which is about the same as No. 12 except with grilled pork.

The food here is really good, cheap, and service is good too. They do get quite busy especially at lunch time, so plan accordingly.

Awesome. I love this restaurant in Burlington. Very cool place, although usually busy. The food is out quick, it's the cheapest Vietnamese in the Burlington area, and the presentation and taste is always the best it can be. The wait-staff is great, and there is free tea. I always have the vermicelli noodle salad with grilled chicken and egg rolls. Vegetarian options also. BYOB! No complaints, very pleased.

Fantastic restaurant. Was on vacation and decided to eat at Pho Hong. The staff was very helpful. The food was absolutely fantastic!! The food was served fast and the portion size was huge. If you are in the area you should definitely check it out!

Best Restaurant for the Money in Burlington. Hands down, best Pho in B-Town, and furthermore, best food for the dollar in Chittenden County. Do not pass up the opportunity for the best spot for Pho in a 100 mile radius.

The only restaurant that a family of five can agree on every time. We all have our favorites...#7, #14, #18, #25 and #26.....woops don't forget the tiger rolls. You will not be disappointed.

Love it. Family run. Awesome food
The Bundt
Great fresh food, excellent prices. One of my favorites in Burlington for sure. The fresh spring rolls are excellent, the Vietnamese crepe is very good (though sometimes a bit heavy on the bean sprouts), panang curry is very good as is their fried rice. Best by far are the hot pots -- either shrimp, tofu or eggplant, but best to get it with shrimp and add the fried tofu. Absolutely amazing. Service is very good but family-run and usually busy, sometimes it can get a bit slow when crowded (which is often) and they will sometimes run out of ingredients and make a switch without telling you. Regardless one of the best restaurants in Burlington.
MasaLan
Great service and excellent food. Stop by for dinner due to flight cancelled back to DC, the service was great, no rush, they treat you like friends, excellent food, never had pho noodle with chive, good taste, the shrimp clay pot also very yummy :P
VtFoody
Good but service sucks. Good food but they always mess up my order. they dont seem to have a good system going at all. and they seem to always be running around in such a small space..the service is bad
Julia
I love Pho! Sometimes the service can be a little spotty but the food is worth re wait! Try number 15 with pork and the tiger rolls are a must. Definitely delicious and a good price...I highly reccommend.
Victoria
Lovely. Love it. Best Pho in town. There is a lot of Asian cuisine around here, and this is the best non-sushi place in town.

Local Fave. Pho Hong has become one of our few go-to places in Burlington for authentic Asian food. They're reliably delicious and inexpensive. Favorites include the Panang Curry, the Vietnamese Hot & Sour Soup (not always on the menu, but they'll make it), and the Pork Spring Roll over noodles & veggies (#13!).
Stephen Bailey
Great place! Love the food served here. Nice staff. And BYOB is good option since they don't sell beer or wine.

Not good vegatarian options

Delicious!. I got the Ca Ri dish (number 25), and it was AMAZING. It was a yellow curry blend with onions and sweet potatoes. It had a mini kick, and the flavors blended perfectly. I highly recommend it.

One of the Best Resturaunts in Burlington. The food was delicious and colorful. My Panang Curry was creamy yet spicy in a very good way. The service was pleasant and cheerful. I will come back again soon.

Oh yeah, they are also BYOB, which is awesome.

-----02 May, 2009-----

Couldn't ask for a better restaurant next to the laundromat. One of my favorite meals in Burlington is tiger rolls, Panang curry and an avocado milkshake. Great pho and stir fry too.

My Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong, however, was quite tasty. they did a good job with it, with a really nice sear on the the pork, decent crisp on the egg roll, and nicely soft-pickled veggies. The nuoc cham nicely complimented both the pork and the egg roll, making for a nice overall balance of flavor. The dish was also nicely
