Bay Watch

Such a great casual breakfast/lunch place. They are being smart about the staff shortage and now you order and pay at the front and they bring the food to you. The staff is very kind and helpful. I had the nutty chicken salad and it was big and filling! Mom had the tuna melt which came with fries and a salad. Could easily feed 2 people. Lots of food for the price. I would definitely come back.

Al fresco dining done right! Tables set apart at least 6 feet social distancing. Super grateful for them being open and doing it right. Later review edits: Definite recommend during these COVID times and when it passes ! Our first time going out since shelter-in-place orders and we were relieved to see very spaciously laid out outdoor dining tables. Some with umbrellas, some in the sun, and some under their walkway covering. Best part is that the tables seemed to be more than the required 6 feet social distancing! Very relieved and felt safe to dine here when we saw there was a system to 1. first come, first serve outdoor dining, and 2. There is a queue by the door, with separated markers on the ground & plastic guards at cashier front to place your order, 3. Hand sanitizer by the signature pad after you sign for payment, and 4. Servers wearing masks and some gloves and you see them sanitizing the tables after guests leave. Two thumbs up! And, yes, fresh, made to order breakfast/brunch items and plenty of parking in the plaza. Definite recommend.

What a magical place! If you're too busy to go to say Monterey or Pacifica but you want to feel like you're in an old fashioned cozy diner, come to BAY WATCH. The food is fantastic, the staff knows how to treat a customer and you're gonna be able to relax and unwind- if for half an hour. And of course my dearest ECR will take you there if you don't have a car. Can't recommend BAY WATCH highly enough. Come and see for yourself.

Got our food 45 minutes after ordering. Several other tables who came after us got served before us. Steak sizes are not consistent. Omelette was bland and baked potato too salty. After waiting for 45 mins, you wouldn't even want to wait for your dish to be replaced. Manager came to let us know that he was giving us a 20% discount. Not worth it!
