I've been here a few times and each time I've gone the food has been incredible. Fresh products spiced to perfection. The owner works as a server and a chef in addition to his charming staff. There's a great wine and German beer selection as well. I highly recommend this establishment if you haven't already gone -- it's a real gem.
We got there right at 6 o’clock when they open we were one of two tables. By 6:20 the joint was packed! It’s obviously super popular with the locals. Because we are vegan, we ate the sampler platter. We liked it so much we took one to go to eat the next day. We finished the meal off with Turkish coffees – the real deal! Great food, excellent service, and the room has a really cool vibe.
Love it! The atmosphere was wonderful. The second was excellent. And most importantly, the food was phenomenal and portions were large. I would be excited to go back if I'm ever in the area again. I highly recommend this restaurant. The restaurant is relatively small so it would be prudent to have a reservation, but it wasn't packed when I went, so you may be successful at getting in.
Loved this place! Great vegetarian options! The bread was delicious and I enjoyed dipping it into the many options that were available. I went during summer when there were good outdoor dining options and conditions, but interior is nice as well.
Authentic Mediterranean cuisine with outstanding service! Vegan stew is so flavorful and the potatoes are divine. All appetizers are worth it the try! Very good selection of wine that goes with the tasteful and fresh food
This is a beautiful restaurant both on the patio that is surrounded by healthy green plants and flowers and especially indoors. The inside is a beautiful colorful space that definitely transports you to another place. The service is very warm and sincere, this is a locally owned family owned institution in Burien. I could just hang out with a mezze plate for my dinner and be good! Order extra pita at every course, it’s homemade and magical!
Very comfy colorful place with delicious food. The lady running the show was very cordial and friendly. It seemed a bit understaffed with just her and one other person doing everything, especially when more people came in and filled up over half the tables. So we had to wait a little longer for our dinner but were taken care of with a free halva dessert.
So all food Amazing. Great wine. Friendly professional people. Lovely place.
Delicious food and wonderful service! Highly recommend the mezze platter (ate it before I took a photo) and the lamb shank.
Really great service and food. I ordered the Mesopotamian chicken and the chicken just fell apart in my mouth. It was perfectly seasoned and the chef came over and spoke to us about the food at our table. A great experience.

Whatever you do order the Mezze! We happened upon Marlaina's getting dinner on our way out of Seattle. The food was delicious, the staff was gracious and accommodating and the chef even came to our table to introduce himself. Everything we ordered was exquisitely prepared and tasted so fresh I almost forgot it was February! If you are looking for some authentic Mediterranean food with an intimate atmosphere, look no further.
