Absolutely delicious! We were walking by and smelled how good it was when we decided we had to come back for lunch. Had the Lomo Fries and the Chicharron Sandwich. The Lomo Fries are topped with beef tenderloin, onions & tomatoes. The beef is sooo tender and delicious. And the sauce that pooled at the bottom of the fries was to die for. The Chicharron Sandwich was made up of a roasted pork belly which equally delicious. I'm a bit of a pansy when it comes to spices, but it was sooo good I ate the whole thing. I'm looking forward to trying everything on this menu. Also, Danny the owner is super nice and helpful.

I have to say, there isn't one thing that I have eaten and have not loved. I have never had Peruvian food in my life and I have here three times and it's amazing!

Right on Brand Ave, so it's perfect for a day of shopping and eating. Found this place on Google. We actually passed by this place twice because it has an unassuming front. But you walk in, and its surprisingly modern and clean. The entree portions are huge. If it's 2 people, you can probably share an entree, appetizer and a ceviche. But come for the ceviche since it's the most peruvian thing. We tried the cevhiche mixto and it was the perfect mix of fresh seafood, lime and spice.

This place a very good! Definitely authentic Peruvian food, their ceviche dishes are delicious. The staff was very kind but we did wait a while before the waitresses checked on us. However not a huge deal. Also Inca cola is bomb, try it... Let me know

The food was great. I ordered the arroz con pollo and mom had the bistec con tallarines verdes. Unfortunately, I was super hungry and it felt like an eternity for the food to arrive. I suggest you get an appetizer to share if you go hungry... The chicha morada was yummy. Tasted home made. The decor was nice. The service was fast and courteous. Overall a pleasant experience which isn't the same of A LOT s Peruvian restaurants that I've been to. Come try Lola's in Glendale, I know you will enjoy it! Update- I made this original review 2 years ago. I've been back to Lola's many times since. Usually I'm pressed for time when I go, so I order the food ahead of time. This allows me time to eat and not have to rush and fly back to work. The Lomo Saltado and Chicken Saltado are both amazing. I think you're safe ordering any of their dishes. Thank You Lola's for the WONDERFUL food!! 9/23 UPDATE Went with a couple of co-workers. I ordered arroz con pollo, they ordered Lomo Saltado, Tallarín Saltado, and Veggie Saltado. Everyone was happy with their plate. We got Chicha Morada and Maracuyá to drink. There were no complaints. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I did notice that the prices went up a little. Prepare to pay about $20 per entree.

After reading the reviews I had to come here. My first exposure to Peruvian cuisine is through Mark Weins YouTube and IG channel "Migrationology" . In particular, Peruvian ceviche, which looks different from the standard Mexican ceviche that I love so much. I found this place which was walking distance from my office, and got here early. Matter of fact, on a weekday around 11:45AM, I was the first one in. I was pleasantly greeted by a server named Jared who was super friendly and outgoing. Another gentlemen brought me some olive garden style bread sticks, and 2 dipping sauces. One sauce was a mayonnaise mixture that was delicious. The other was a green sauce that had the tiniest bit of heat. I ordered the ceviche mixto, which was one of two available ceviches on their lunch menu which was cheaper than their dinner menu. $12.99 versus $15.99 I believe. My food came out in about 7 minutes, but I was still the only on in the store. My first mouthful of ceviche was pure Bliss. I had a piece of white fish, a Kerbal of roasted corn, a sliver of red onion, and a bit of the "leche de tigre" which is the sauce mixture of lime/lemon/seasoning dripping off the seafood. The dish actually comes with both steamed corn kernels, and roasted corn kernels, to add a bit of starch to the fresh seafood. Also on my plate was a dollar pancake sized cut of sweet potato, also steamed to perfection. It was a perfectly sweet starchy addition to an otherwise very clean, citrusy refreshing dish. I did get an additional 2 breadsticks to go with my plate of seafood, which was just an amazing combination. The 2 dipping sauces, the soft bread, the clean and crisp smelling and tasting seafood , the brightness of the red onions, the crunch and aroma of the corn kernels, all added up to one of my favorite lunches I've ever had on Brand Blvd. And since I work here, I literally eat at every establishment south of the 134 down to the Americana on Brand. I found a winner here. 5 stars.
