This place has been a reliable staple in Downtown Burbank for years. The food is good and the experienced staff is always friendly. I recommend the braised sliced fish, but the menu is full of good options.
I have been coming here for years. Gourmet 88 is solid Chinese food. The staff works very hard and the food is always high quality. They are also fine with food modifications when ordering. Thank you, Gourmet!
Favorite Chinese food place hands down. Kung Pao San Yan is unbeatable here. Crispy noodles with seafood are amazing. It's just sad to see them not as busy due to covid. Hope they stay open. Love this place. Never had a bad meal here.
I have been dining at this place for over 20 years. The food always tastes the same and great. Not to strong and no MSG. I am still a satisfied customer.
Gourmet has mostly good food. The garlic shrimp and fish in black bean sauce are delicious as is the Kung Pao chicken. And their egg drop, hot and sour and vegetable soups are quite good. However the fried shrimp which accompany their dinner combinations are dry and lack flavor. And their Rangoon
