Food was good but it was not a life changing taste. However, it was way too expensive compared to other restaurants. So, if I consider both the taste and price, I would go for the other Chinese restaurants instead. No dine-in option was available at the time of my visit !

Hidden Gem that's a great Lunch/Dinner Spot on a week night. Clean and bright and colorful. The manager was very prompt and polite, and the food came out quickly and was delicious. Definitely reccomend the Chow Mein with Sesame Seeds. Big portion sizes too

This place is an anomaly on the Sheridan drive in Amherst. The food is typically good, offering one of the best and spiciest Chinese food that's close to Sichuan and Hunan styles. The fish dishes are really good. However the service is awful. The waitress who might also be the owner I'm seems uninterested in taking your order and often speaks curtly. The order takes way too long, by which I mean more than 40 minutes in some cases. Again this would be less of a problem if it was properly communicated but the general impression that they give off is that they are simply not interested in the customer.

Great Chinese food! I took my boss and his wife (who is Chinese) here and they loved it. We had many seafood dishes, which were all very good. The food at this restaurant is fresh with none of that MSG aftertaste. The restaurant is also very clean so it's a pleasant place to have a nice meal.

Everything we ordered was delicious, BUT, we had ordered the pork with string beans from the "pork" portion of the menu, expecting an entree. It wasn't. It was a very expensive (~$15!!) string bean dish: basically string beans flavored with about 2 tablespoons of ground pork. We will order from there again, but not this dish, and will ask more questions.

I ordered a hot boiled beef, which is one of the few dishes I used to see how good a restaurant that says it serves Sichuan-styled food was on my first visit. It did not pass my test.
First, there was an integrity issue. The dish contained little beef in the dish. Second, the few tiny pieces of beef on top of the veggies were overcooked. The third, the place was really not pleasant to eat in. This restaurant did not really know what it was doing. Skip this restaurant if possible.

The food at Miss Hot Cafe was amazing. My waitress was extremely helpful and courteous. After my friends and I asked her almost a million questions we ordered the Big Dish. Amazing serving sizes, it could have easily fed four people(there were three of us).
The service was excellent and I never went without anything extra, from steamed rice, to silverware for my friends who cant handle a set of chopsticks.Thank you Miss Hot Cafe for a great meal. I'll be going back again and again.
