Pricey, but worth it. Dinner on the harbor, sunset priceless. Comfortable patio, tasty wine/diverse selection

There atmosphere and location is good. But the menu, pricing, and service were abysmal. I will probably not eat here again.

We spent part of our afternoon on the Buffalo Waterfront and stumbled upon William K's. Very impressed! We had a few drinks on the patio followed by a fantastic burger and order of steamed clams. The only thing better than the food was the service. Our waitress Ashley was terrific.Everything was phenomenal. We started with Landon's garden pizza.

Mediocre food in a great looking restaurant on the waterfront. Very nice views and a patio. Drinks were okay, wood fired wings were not good at all, shrimp cocktail for $16 had bland cocktail sauce with 4 shrimp and some arugula. Ceasar salad and Cobb salad tasted like bagged salad and the chicken strips might have been from a bag also. What a shame.

I was on the fence based on the previous reviews. Let's start with the good. The view was amazing especially at sun down the food was just ok. We had dinner planned for 6pm and there was 2 other tables being served. It had to he the slowest service I have ever received. The crowd picked up a little bit and the hostess was now bringing out food. She spilled some of the food on our party guest she apologized but it was swordfish juice. Also the outside is alongside the walking path so, if your outside any person or animal can walk by. Lastly, if your eating outside be prepared for ALL the bugs that are out small and large there was no stopping them.

Anniversary dinner was tonight, a Sunday. We waited several minutes to even be noticed and then several more to be seated, even though we were the only people waiting for a table and there were several empty. They didn't have coconut rum or sangria, but the waitress said they could make something like sangria. Wasn't good at all, but not the end of the world. However, I based my dinner choice on the food brought to the table next to us. Two people ordered the salmon and they were brought a very large, beautiful looking piece. Mine was approximately half the size. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she said the pieces are weighed. There is NO chance that my piece was the same weight as the others at the next table. They were all quite thick, but mine only took up the middle of the plank. Theirs covered almost the whole length of the plank. It came with hard green beans and 4 or 5 fingerling potatoes. For $34, I was very disappointed. It was obviously a bit too large to throw out so they served it, assuming I wouldn't know any better. Will not be going back.

I love this restaurant. The food was very good and the sunset off the Buffalo outer harbor was amazing. My only compliant was the cocktails I had were not the best. But, I would not let that stop me from going back. Wait staff was awesome. You should try it.

Really Great Dining Experience here. We were seated by the windows which provided a really stunning view of the water. The place has a very nice ambiance and the decorations are very cool. While we did not sit at the bar it looked like a nice place to have a drink. Our waiter Josh was very polite and gave us suggestions on drinks and food items. When they ran out of ingredients for the Buffalo sour I ordered they provided a number of options on other ways to make it as well as similar drinks which was appreciated. The dishes we ordered came out at a very good flow so that we finished one before something else was put onto the table. The breadsticks they give you are very unique and there is pork fat mixed into the butter which is just a stellar combination. Our octopus was cooked perfectly and the chickpeas complimented it well. Really excellent though was the Kurabuta pork 3 ways. The pork belly was honestly to die for and melted in your mouth. The garlicky sausage was also really really tasty and mixed well with the apple dressing. Also included in the dish was rice and kimchi which were suprisingly good with all of the pork. Really awesome. Our desserts came as the sun was really setting and it was a perfect end to our dining experience. Staff was ready with our coats as we left and even helped me into mine. Talk about service. We will definitely be going back when the weather is a bit nicer for a walk after dinner. Thanks for a great night William K's. Very romantic.

Originally from Northern California...went to Niagara Falls then to Toronto..as we were coming back at the border we asked the. Custom Officer where we could have a nice lunch with a view and she highly recommended William K's and so we did go..The pizza was ok..but the Ice tea was fishy taste and so my boyfriend asked for Sparkling bottle water after complaining to the waitress that doesn't know customer service at all...and was mostly shocked to find out at the end that inspite of our complaint about the fishy taste of the Ice Tea and didn't even drink it after one sipped we still got charged for it...yes they have a nice view. But that's all they have..bad service and a bit pricey too..won't recommend it at all and not going back either. ..the manager who brought us the water didn't do anything to compensate the fishy taste of the Ice Tea..

I've had two excellent dining experiences here recently. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Sunday night my wife and I came and had a lovely spot by the window, with a splendid view of the harbor. I had the catch of the day, which was a Red Drum that looked to have been pan seared (my favorite way of preparing fish). My wife had the pork porterhouse. As good as the fish was, her dish was divine! Plus, the fig pudding with homemade salted caramel ice cream was equally amazing! Joseph, the server, was very friendly and just the right level of attentive without being intrusive.

We where seated with a great view of the light house and had high expectations that the food would be great as well. What we got was fishy tasteing tea and our friends burger tasted fishy as well, we decided the lettuce wash washed in the same fishy water the tea was made with. The pizza was greasy and soggy. If you want a great place to have drinks with a view this maybe the place but they need to work on the food for sure!!

I had my first and last meal here last Sunday. First, it took at least 20 minutes to get a cocktail while waiting for a table. The bartender did not seem to know what she was doing. The "craft" cocktails were $10 and a small glass of wine was also $10, which is extremely expensive for wine! After being seated, the waiter was very friendly, but could not even pronounce the menu items (not his fault...more of a criticism of the restaurant). The servers wore jeans and a cook (very visible to those eating) had a McDonald's t-shirt on. Entrees ranged from $30 and up. We ordered the $98 porterhouse "for the table." The steak was delicious. But the sides were portioned for 1 person. Do not have an option on the menu "for the table" and then serve sides for 1 person! Desserts took well over 30 minutes. I would never eat there EVER again. This place is not worth the prices at all!! I would much rather eat my hot dog on a picnic bench than go to this place again.

First of all, the view is amazing, but that's about it. We had reservations at 7pm for 8 people. We were seated right away, but it took forever to get our drink order completed. While the waitress was telling us the specials, we told her what appetizers we wanted. We waited forever for all of us to get our drinks (their bar is very limited, they didn't even have bacardi rum). Finally at 8:15 we were asked what we wanted to order. We asked about our appetizers, and she never put in the order. After an hour and 15 minutes with no food at our table, we decided that we would leave and go somewhere else, as we weren't about to wait another hour to get some type of food. We paid for the drinks we did have and left. Very disappointed with the service! I certainly don't mind waiting for food, but after she said she didn't think we wanted the appetizers (after we ordered them) and it took so long for her to come and take our dinner order, the amount of time was very excessive.

Beautiful views, pizzas are delicious. Really love this place. The wait staff at the outdoor tables was very good. The bartenders at the inside bar were extremely inattentive. It was early evening on a Saturday, it wasn't that busy yet we were getting no service at the bar. We had to go to the other end and basically get in their faces to get noticed. The female bartender acted like we were a bother. Very disappointed since this is a great place other than the bar staff.

came here for brunch over the summer and the whole experience was horrendous. took 10 minutes for a server to come over, took another 10-15min to get a drink (2 mimosas and 1 specialty cocktail). we ordered oysters to start and each ordered our meals. our meals came first before the oysters and had to remind the waitress of our oysters, which wasn't received well. my best friend and i both ordered the pork belly hash ( i think that's what it was) they clearly made our meals together, which is fine, but when plating gave her 90% pork belly and 10% hasbrowns, and i received the opposite, as you can imagine i was not pleased, luckily she didn't mind sharing our plates to even things out. the entire experience sucked- service, food and cocktails (timing). will not be back any time soon.

I never remember having a meal this amazing- ever. By far, this restaurant trumps every other restaurant in Buffalo. Fantastic menu selection and everything was incredible from the food to the service (Genna). Amazing. Just amazing. Thank you for the most memorable dining experience, ever.

Pretty shitty how you treat your staff, doesn't matter how good the food is if you're staff are on food stamps...

One of the finer restaurants we've eaten at in awhile. Steven was gracious. Elegant and portioned properly. The Figgy pudding was exactly how it should have been served. I noticed alot of poor reviews below. Most likely from the obese American diners seated nearby. You deserve a Michelin star!

Every moment of our evening was phenomenal! Food waiter chef so unique... wow my new favorite restaurant down town.

Both the food and the views are amazing. A great new restaurant for Buffalo. The pork 3 ways and lamb along with the mushroom appetizer were big hits at our table. Definitely recommend this place for a night out in the city.
