Review Tgi Fridays - Buffalo

The food was good but could have been better. Went here for dinner on my birthday and got seated quickly. It was very cold in the restaurant and when I received my food it was already cold, it did taste good and service was decent I would have given more stars if the food wasn't ice cold.probabally wouldn't eat here again after having to microwave the food to eat after we left. Wasn't the greatest end to my birthday. Yes you can send the review

Was dinning here tonight. The service was horrible, the food was nasty and the waitresses were not on the same page, none of them knew what was going on, total chaos, brought my food to the wrong person. Another customer lost her patience on the waitress for bringing out the wrong food to her. I waited 15 minutes just to get water, another 45 minutes for fries and fish the restaurant was not even crowed. When our food came out it was cold. I was so frustrated I asked for to go containers without eating. Our waitress was dull she clearly didn't wanna engage with us. Complete turn off. This experience destroyed my appetite and my date night. I will never dine here again.

The service was great and the atmosphere was good. Got there early so not crowded. The food was fresh and hot. The only thing was I ordered the burger medium rare but came out over medium well. It still had good flavor. Will have to imagine what it would've been like the way I ordered it. But I'll still go back

Ordered through DoorDash. The dinner I got was $30 for about $8 worth of food, so I know they're not hurting for money. The wings tasted like pure fish. I hate fish because it tastes rotten to me. I don't recall seeing fish on their menu which means the wings are spoiled. I understand the price of food is high but that doesn't mean cut corners and put your customers at risk to save a buck or two. The salad was mostly cheese and cabbage, hardly any lettuce. Very disappointed. I would've expected this low level of service from Applebee's but not Friday's.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. If i could tell you the name of the waitress I would. She ignored us for 35 minutes, we got water-NO STRAW, when we finally ordered our food and mixed drinks from the bar.. food was ready long before it was brought to us(we could see the kitchen from where we sat) it was cold -but by this point we were in a hurry and hungry.BTW-we grabbed silverware rolls off the DIRTY table next to us, no extra plates given,no napkins. After an hour and one of us going up to the bar we were informed by the bartender that we ordered our drinks at a bad time- his words "well.. bad timing" as we complained because we had yet to get our drinks. He also informed us that although he was tending the bar and making drinks for everyone else, he was not the bartender and couldn't make our drinks. When it was time for us to leave we had to flag down our waitress to ask for a check, she then brought us our drinks that were ordered 1.5 hours prior. She got an attitude when we said we no longer wanted them, and that we didn't want to pay for them. She argued with us and denied her horrible service . We could understand if the restaurant was busy, but we were seated in less than 2 minutes and there were only 4 tables total in our section, us-two tables getting ready to leave and one eating. We ended up being comped for our meal that we BARELY ate. I will never go back to this location. If you plan on seeing a show downtown DO NOT EAT AT FRIDAYS.. although it's close and convenient, not worth the headache.

Our server and manager were nice enough but we had to send a steak back twice. The first time it was raw and the second time they just heated half of it and the other half still had raw parts. We also weren't the only customers with problems

The pina coladas and lemonade weren't as good as I expected but the food was delicious.

We went with a party of 9. We were told it would be 10-15 minutes while tables were put together. This was understandable, but there were many tables sitting empty while we were waiting. The hostess finally seated us and said she'd be right back with a kid's menu- she never returned. The waiter was friendly and helpful. There were minor drink issues (lemons missing,etc). Appetizers came out in a reasonable amount of time, but entrees took too long. Once the food was delivered, it was discovered that one of the entrees was missing. After checking into it, the waiter let us know it had been delivered to the wrong table and the meal would have to be remade. So, that person had to sit without food while the rest of us ate (they did give it to him free of charge). I had the classic cheeseburger and fries. The fries were chewy and seemed as though they had been sitting for quite awhile. The burger was nothing special. So so food seemed to be the general consensus at our table. The one good thing is the waiter kept our glasses of water and soft drinks full.

My food was terrible, servers aren't friendly at all. Ordered sizzling chicken and cheese with a side of Jack Daniels sauce. I was given a little dipping cup filled half way with sauce, same thing with the ranch I asked for, for my salad. The 1 slice of cheese that came with my Chicken & Cheese was burnt to the plate and the Chicken was dry. Good thing I got that teaspoon of Jack Daniels sauce! They weren't busy at all but the wait staff seemed to be too busy socializing with each other to checked on thier customers. We ordered an appetizer, cheese and spinich dip. It came with about 8 chips to dip with and 5 minutes later or dinners arrived. Terrible all the way around! And if you order a drink with liquor you don't get a straw.

We got there dinner time and I figured we wouldn’t be seated right away. The hostess told us it would be a 25 minute wait. He was right. I don’t mind waiting that long. Our server was very nice and easy to talk to. He had a trainee shadowing him. She’s a natural! I felt very welcomed by them both. Food was excellent and came in a timely manner. I even asked our server to take a picture of us which he happily obliged. Thanks dude! Nice area and great atmosphere 👌🙂

Service was awful! Our waiter didn't come to our table for ten minutes! Then, it to awhile to order drinks and food from our waiter.

Went here after show across the street. Our waiter brought our desserts and then disappeared. After waiting for about 15 minutes and no waiter, I asked another waiter to find him...he came back after about 5 minutes and said that he thought he was in the bathroom. I asked if he could get me my bill. He said yes, while I was signing my bill..low and behold the waiter and some other worker come in from outside...must have been on a smoke break. The waiters name was Sam and it was the first time ever in my life I left a big fat nothing for a tip.

I've always had a great time whenever I was there. Yesterday evening was a bit of a disappointment. We had a party of eight celebrating my sister relocating. The waiter, Sam, just didn't seem to want to be there. His people skills were awful and he appeared like we were a bother to him. I will come back again, but I would request that he not be my waiter. I hated to not leave a tip, but you can't reward bad behavior!!!

Made an easy reservation in line, got our table right on time, food was awesome, waiter was very pleasant and engaging and he got us out in time to make the theater!! Would go again! And I recommend the BBQ chicken flatbread. Yummy

Haven't been to a chain restaurant in forever, this experience reaffirms why. Came in to no employees in sight at the hostess station. We began to wonder if it was seat yourself. A waitress passed and we ask, we were told someone would be up soon. After another 5 mins the nicest bearded man ushered us to a table soon after our friendly waitress appeared and took our drink order as we poured over the menu. We got our drinks and began our orders. Low and behold what we had wanted was "out". Um it's downtown Buffalo and you're out of wings? Well, there goes that I settled for boneless wings, garlic parm. My friend wanted the app sampler well no potato skins, really? There was something else to but I forgot what it was so she got a meal. I also got a side salad to go with my "wings". A few moments later was told my choice of dressing was also out! Annoying! Our meals arrived and my friend was greated with the smallest parmesan crusted chicken breast we'd ever seen and the underside was burnt! My garlic parm boneless wings came with some gloppy sauce plopped on the plate, very unappealing. Not like any garlic parm I've ever tasted. Kinda vinegary and sweet with flecks of parmesan cheese on top. I wiped off every piece and asked for Tabasco. The cheese on my salad tasted like plastic. Not a good food experience at all. We were coming from Sheas. Definitely will not do that again.

Love dropping by for a burger and fries every now and then! Only been a few times but each of those times, the experience was awesome The staff are very courteous and professional. It's my go to place when I'm downtown and feel like treating myself. The desserts are amazing also!!

Food and service was horrible. Very slow and almost every entree was incorrect. Waitress had a terrible attitude. Walked away sucking her teeth before we coukd even finish our drink orders. I will be contacting the corporate office in monday to register an official complaint.

Went there yesterday be for the nkotb concert the service sucks the waiter took our order we ordered the endless appatizers it took them all most 20min be for we got them one person orderd dinner came out before our appatizers came then we never seen our waiter for close to 20min be for we could order our second appatizers. Would go back and give them another try If they would offer us coupons or something. Hopefully someone gets back to me

Good food but service was VERY slow considering it wasn’t busy at all. We had to ask another server for our check to get over to Shea’s.

Came in with my family last night. The waitress brought my wife appetizer out in about 20 minutes and never added mine. 1 hour later still no appetizer and then dinner comes out. She tried to bring the appetizer after dinner. Food took forever and when it got to us it was cold and didn't taste well. Waitress was outside on her phone while we were waiting on food smh. Will never visit Fridays again.

The ribs was ok the service was ok would be better if there was someone at at the host station came in no one was there so I stood there waiting for some kind of customer service but once the host came the rest was very nice

We go just for convenience to the theatre .?my friend gets the free chips and salsa . Took forever to comeback. Right before our meal. They were stale . Waitress did take them back but seriously who wants them then! My salad was good . Chicken bar b q. If your lucky and get their one good waiter! U win . The turn over there is a big problem . They should know when 2 huge events are happening downtown . Be prepared !! We will b trying other places the rest of the Season !
