Absolutely excellent food!! I had the veggie burrito, I always keep the bar low on that but was shocked by the 8 different veggies inside it!! It was delicious. My husband had 7 Mares a seafood soup, that is definitely a meal, it filled him up and we had just finished hiking La Plata and we were hungry.
This was a fun little place to visit while in town. We LOVE Mexican food so we were hyped. The food is good but nothing super exciting. The margarita was delicious. The service was decent and we all enjoyed the meal. It was a little cramped and there was not really walking room around the high chair. Overall, it was good and I even ate the left overs.
Cozy, homestyle SW place in one of my favorite CO towns, BV. House made chips and salsa are the first indication that this place is special. My partner and I shared a large combo plate and it was more than enough for the two of us. My favorite was the chile relleno which is prepared My favorite way.....fried with a wonton wrapper. The tamale was massive with lots of pork filling around the fluffiest masa I've encountered in a tamale. Housemade refried beans and rice rounded out this meal in a cozy locale.
The salsa with the chips is delicious, specially the salsa verde! We had the mole enchiladas, both of our favorite, and the mundo with tripe. It was very flavorful.
The best salsa ever. So good. Food came out quickly and hot. Great great service—absolutely delicious food and fair prices. Absolutely recommend!!!!!!!
We've eaten at this restaurant on a couple of occasions, and the food is always delicious. Everything tastes fresh, home made and the portions are huge! This is a perfect place to visit after a long day of hiking, mountain biking or whatever physical activity you enjoy. So good, I highly recommend!! Love supporting local businesses.
We are ruined for all other Mexican food now. The salsa is incredible and mole was amazing. My other half had a green chile smothered burrito and it was gone so fast I barely saw it. Highly recommend.
Traveling around Colorado we went through Buena Vista, and found Casa Sanchez 3, food was amazing!! Service was outstanding! Everyone was friendly and professional! Will go back the next time we are in the area! Thanks very much!!
Everyone is so friendly, and the salsa is delicious. We have come 2x now in a week because we knew we would leave full and happy. Everything tastes fresh.
The place is cutesy decorated and welcoming. A little on the mix it up side, but I like it.
The first night, we ordered queso, fajitas for 2, and kids taco....to say the least we left with 4 to go boxes. It was so much food, and so good.
Tonight, we ordered fajitas for 1 and the mushroom appetizer. I am still afraid we will have leftovers. No problem with that!
The green salsa is so fresh and delicious. The mushroom appetizer would have benefited from more avocado slices. The avocado slices were not quite ripe yet, so a little hard, but that is my only complaint. The fajitas have great flavor and are sliced thin so making it easy to eat. They do not skimp on the meat, and I am very grateful for that. Definitely recommend and will come again.
