Review Iron Wok - Bryson City

Great place, excellent, and swift dining service. Was able to get my food real quick and it was good. The hot and sour soup was amazing. The chicken fried rice was like any other place so next time I may try the Pad Thai. The place was clean and enough sitting room for a big gathering. Overall, a great choice for a quick and satisfying meal.

Was amazed at how good the food was here. Our server, Abraham was the absolute best. We came in with a party of 13 an hour before closing on Christmas Eve and we never once felt like an inconvenience. Food was hot and fresh and everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you all for an amazing experience.

Best Chinese food I've had in NC. We make sure to visit Iron wok every time we are in town. I usually get their hibachi but decided to try their Chinese this time and was not disappointed. The coconut chicken is by far the BEST I've ever had. The general tso's chicken was awesome as well. The chicken is high quality as well. Crab Rangoons were great, they have the perfect amount of sweetness.. HIGHLY recommend Iron Wok.. I wish we had a restaurant this good in my town. Try them out.

This little nugget was on our radar the day before we got here. And we are glad we came. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We had drinks topped off before they got halfway down. The food was correct and YUMMY!! The Pad Thai was hitting the right spot. We will for sure be back.

Came in because we were hungry and there weren't many options, but it was a success! The restaurant looks like a real Chinese restaurant, with Oriental music in the background. We got the orange chicken and the kung-pau chicken. The orange chicken was good. Fried in batter and covered with orange sweet sauce. The kung-pau was stir fried with vegetables and was spicy. A good spicy. We ordered both of them with fried rice which had an aroma of garlic powder, which we didn't like, but it went well with the chicken. The service was professional and welcoming. All in all, we had a good time and a good meal.

Been here twice in the past few weeks. The food is very good. Portions are humongous! The coconut chicken was delicious. Veggie soup bowl add shrimp was the way to go for sure!! I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the spring rolls, egg rolls and basil rolls could be fresher. The spring roll was kind of dark and tasted like maybe had to be fried again. The wrap on basil roll was a little tough and should be nice and thin. It was very tacky and stuck to roof of my mouth. I will definitely return and want to try several other menu items. It is a definite good place to eat while in Bryson City. Is tucked out of the way which is why we hadn't found until now. Been coming here for 6+ years.

After trying several other restaurants in Bryson City and being told of incredible long waits we went to the iron wok because we were famished. We were immediately seated and brought Waters and menus. We ordered a type of shrimp rice roll which were very large and excellent served with a type of peanut sauce. We then split a large order of moo goo gai pan which we both enjoyed very much. Service was friendly and very fast.

What an amazing place!! All the food was wonderful! We tried all their soups and they were fantastic! Pad Thai and sesame chicken were the favorites of the night. We came only a few minutes before closing and they treated us so well. We will be back!!

Took recommendation from Google Maps. Excellent flavorful Pad Thai. Might benefit from a few more veggies. Will try to get back here soon. Second visit we ordered red curry and green curry. Neither was good, and too salty.

Overall yummy food and would try it again. Took ten minutes to get menus, drinks, etc. think we just got forgotten about which is understandable. Crab Rangoon were good but overcooked so extra crunchy/brown. I got the red curry which said it was spicy and it was not at all spicy. Still tasted really good, I was just hoping for a little spice. My husband got General Tso’s chicken and enjoyed it.

We were driving home from Tennessee and found this restaurant on Google maps. Service was great, they took care of us right away. The food was really good. I ordered the beef pho and I’ve never seen it come in such a big bowl. Could feed two people with the portion. Enjoyed our meal very much.

I’ve always found Chinese restaurant reviews to be hit or miss, so when we were visiting Bryson City, we took the 4.5 avg that Iron Wok had with a grain of salt… But their rating is well earned, being some of the best Chinese food we’ve had in a long time. Food was excellent, servings are huge, and it seemed like a good value too. We wish they would open a satellite restaurant in Charlotte! P.S. the menu in the restaurant is a partial menu. There’s a barcode on the front to get to the full menu, so there are many more choices than what it first seems…

This place has delicious food!! I loved their crab rangoon, pancit bihon (filipino dish❤️), pad thai and their taro boba tea. Their variety of asian cuisine is amazing, they even have curries and hibachi!! I ordered for pick up, it was ready on time and the woman who rang me up was friendly. Their egg roll and basil rolls are also good.

This is some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in Western North Carolina! There is a small parking lot right next to the restaurant and we were lucky to get a spot. We came for the lunch special, and the prices were very reasonable. My boyfriend and I shared a cup of wonton soup, which was under $3, and it was delicious. I got the chicken lo mein and he got the sesame chicken, and we both shared our food. The chicken lo mein was delicious and unique while still maintaining its lo mein-y taste. The sesame chicken was great, the sauce went very well with the broccoli and the rice. The service was amazing and we were in and out pretty quickly! I would definitely come here again to try more of their offerings, it was so good!
