Wayback Burgers

I've seen Wayback Burgers in a couple of places but decided to try it during our vacation in College Station. We ordered our food online and picked it up at the designated time that was texted to us. By the time we received and ate our food, it was soggy and fairly cold. We ordered a Cheesesteak, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, Big Easy, and a Milkshake. For all of our burgers and sandwiches, they were soggy. The trip home from Wayback Burgers is only 5 minutes, so we weren't in the car for that long. However, we did ordered and picked up our food 15-30 minutes before closing. As for the flavors, the Cheesesteak didn't taste much like a Philly Cheesesteak. It had more of a Sloppy Joe type-of-flavor. Additionally, the tomatoes fell out as soon as I unwrapped the packaging. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich wasn't spicy at all thus it isn't one of our favorite or decent Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich(es). We can't comment on the Big Easy or Milkshake since our friend ordered it, but he said it was alright. Overall, I don't think I will be returning. If I do return, however, I would probably order their fries, and I would eat in the restaurant instead of picking up. I would not order the Cheesesteak or Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, though.

My dads been searching for a great burger. We stopped in today and ordered. My dad says it’s the BEST burger he’s ever ate. I love a clean kitchen. You can see the cook grilling your order. Very nice customer service and spotless kitchen. You can always spot great management . Great job Wayback Burgers !!

This location has the best burgers and the friendliest and most helpful staff. They know what they are doing. We are delighted by the food every time we go. When we lived in NYC, The Burger Joint in the lobby of the Le Parker Meridien hotel (now the Thompson) in midtown was the best place to go for burgers, and the 'everything on it' burger at this location of Wayback reminds us of the burger we used to enjoy in NYC.

Decided to try something new. Walked in and ordered a little before 8. The food wasn't appetizing for me because the cod was way overdone and the fries had so much salt on them I wasn't able to eat them. As we were waiting one of the two females made a loud comment about how she would have turned us away at churches even though there was still an hour before they closed. As much as we paid for our 4 meals I didn't expect to hear comments like that. Totally uncalled for. If it was such a big imposition we could have been told they were closing and we would have went elsewhere.
