So freakin good!!! I spent about an hour researching the best places for BBQ around Memphis / I-40, using both Google and Yelp and this was the winner. And boy are we glad we picked it!! We called 20 minutes ahead and ordered 2 plates - 1 with ribs and the other with pulled pork. Plates come with 3
We had a great time talking to Mrs. Helen of Helen's BBQ. It was a joy to meet and to talk with her and her husband, we ordered the chop pork sandwich and potato salad and I then had to try the smoked bologna sandwich awesome. We will definitely be going back, to visit and partake of her BBQ again.
Always the best food best service and best customers. Black and white folk come together there. I love it

Bland pork sandwiches that had no smokey flavor... Watery bbq sauce... Beans fresh out of the can without any alterations... With loads of flies... At least the pork wasn't dry... Even though you may see her on TV don't be fooled by the hype not a place worth traveling to.
I've had pulled pork in dozens of places in Austin, DFW, Memphis and north Alabama, heck even London, and this is the best I've found by a significant margin, especially at this price!
Literally the best bbq I have ever had. Her sauce, let me tell you, just go ahead and buy yourself a whole jar of it, I'm pretty sure she even sells it by the gallon. You'll find yourself dipping chicken nuggets in it eventually, like Frank's, Helen's sauce goes on Anything. THE BEST BBQ SAUCE EVER!
Best barbecue in West Tennessee. Miss Helen waits on customers personally. The potato salad is very good too!
