Mama's Greek Kitchen - Brooklyn - Photo album

I ordered a vodka pie, it was not what they call a vodka pie. The pizza looked exactly like my regular pie no difference and it also tasted like a regular cheese pie. Actually just popped in for a morning coffee. Was greeted very kindly by the helpful staff and the coffee tasted great. I will definitely be a returning customer for food. Place looks clean.
Food quality not the best food served cold, dips made poor and the saganaki cheese was half warm half cold not even close to the menu description. The gyro platters was mediocre. My visit today was the first and last . The thing is I am greek and a chef in a very busy greek restaurant so I know how

Mama's is truly disappointing. The food is not fresh, the service is by no means exceptional, and the staff can be outright rude. I do not recommend going here, especially since there are many Greek restaurants/diners in the immediate area that have better food and a more appealing atmosphere.
Very solid grandma slice, nice people as well!
DO NOT EAT THE PIZZA, its awful, best to buy frozen pizza. Plus the Empanada is over priced and over rated.
