More of a Japanese themed speakeasy bistro than an izakaya. The ambiance is nice, with its tiny space it certainly looks beautiful and sophisticated. Yet the food menu is very small, if you are here for food or come hungry, you might be a bit disappointed on the options provided.
Decent cocktails and very good food in a beautiful room. The speakeasy element is always fun, as well. Highly recommend sitting at the bar

It’s more Japanese themed. Some of the food was good, but an strange overly American take on Izakaya. Was very expensive… for what it was, a (baked) potato served in tin foil for $11. Won’t go again.

Pleasantly surprised. No sushi. Low key. Great food. Odd that the raw menu that had “grilled” shrimp on it. When I asked the server how grilled shrimp could be on the Raw menu she said “ it’s lightly grilled “. Ended up being some of the most over cooked, tough rubbery shrimp I’ve ever had.
