The staff is really friendly and the food is amazing! At first I thought it was an ordinary cafe but I was wrong. The smoothies I had were so fresh I could taste a tropical island. 100 percent would come back for an another amazing smoothie. Prices were also low considering the exquisite taste.

I love this place. The owner is the NICEST guy - his staff is so polite and efficient. The sandwiches are enormous and great quality, the juices are fresh and tasty. I’m so happy they survived covid - truly a Brooklyn staple.
Canteen is a great neighborhood staple. The guys who work here are super friendly and always working hard. Food comes fast and is pretty tasty. They have really good smoothies and decent vegan options such as tofu cream cheese, oat and almond milk.
Edited review - I originally had one star and one 3 star experience, thus I left a 4 star review and said I’d re update accordingly. I’ve gone back 3-4 times since and they’ve been amazing. They’re all so nice and the food is very good and very affordable - 5 stars now
