Flying Lobster - Brooklyn - Photo album

I was fortunate enough to know the owner and watch the conversion of Flying Lobster from a local coffee bar to the intimate jazz club and wine bar that it's become. A couple of years ago the owner turned over management of the bar to his son, a professional jazz musician and it went through another
Feels like you’re coming back home when you walk thru the bar doors. Truly one of the greatest landmarks in Brooklyn. Amazing seafood and amazing drinks. Music every weekend and a perfect place to meet with friends after work!
I was lucky enough to live near the Flying Lobster Bar for a few years while I lived in New York. It was always a highlight of my week whenever I had the time to stop by for a beer while enjoying the live jazz being played. It's a bit small, so you learn everyone's names before too long and find you
Extremely kind staff and musicians. The talent was excellent as was the food and wine. A true gem :)
"Flying Lobster" - ...Some call it a hidden "Gem".... some call it a “diamond in the rough,” I define it as a Phoenix Rising; atmosphere, fun and the right Vibes (pun intended) , these are some, if not the the many gems of Flying Lobster. Upon entering you are welcomed by warmth and a transformation
The Flying Lobster and next door restaurant Petite Crevette are hidden gems of NYC. Live music every Wed-Sunday, top notch wine and food. And the gracious staff. This is a must visit location, whether you’re a visitor of town or a neighborhood regular.
Who knew dining on the BQE could be so charming! This bonafide jazz bar is providing the good vibes with live music during the Covid times- a true rarity! Their sangria is bangin and they even have Croatian wines!
Fabulous live jazz music, delicious food and friendly staff.
Got a chance to chat with the owner who is a warm, interesting and cool guy. There is a restaurant next door to the bar. It was a great dining experience with many awesome seafood selections.
The best of Brooklyn... Live jazz Saturday nights (and some others as well), and great atmosphere, Neil is an outstanding host, great malbec, absolutely perfect!
