Fradei Bistro - Brooklyn - Photo album

5 stars French bistro that does it better than France. I’ve never had a more delicious cut of meat. Natural wines. Marble slab tables. A place to fall in love
Fradei is impressive. The food was incredible, with unexpected yet delicious flavors, like in the wagyu beef tartare with sesame seeds. Please go try their food. The ambient is a little cramped and not much effort was put into the decor, which is fine. We had to wait for 30 minutes for our reserved
The intimate space is warm and inviting, and might be the smallest restaurant I have ever seen, in the best way. Book a resy here for a romantic date night or the perfect evening of exploring natural wines with good food and friends. Food: •Red Endive - This salad was insanely good and definitely in
Cute little restaurant with very limited seats, they take outstanding local quality ingredients and beautify them with unexpected yet delicious and perfectly executed associations. And on top of it they have a great wine list, ask for their recommendation, they know what they do and they’ll recommen
I cannot wait to come back to Fradei! Great service, incredible incredible food. It’s small with limited seating so make a res.
I never had Italian food that was this original. All the dishes look simple, but they're deceivingly original and carefully crafted to produce a unique tasting experience of flavors, textures, and visuals. The staff is very chill and the 80s music helps you flow through the 5 courses. I especially l
Lovely night at Fradei. Staff is kind, knowledgeable, and attentive without getting in the way of conversation and the intimate setting with amazing food. Highly recommend going for the wine pairing, it's $50 per head with 5 or so "half glasses" that felt like full servings. What a great addition to
one of my all time favorite restaurants, fradei hits the mark every time. the food is remarkable and unique, the service is impeccable, the restaurant inside is small and quaint and absolutely perfect for the experience, i cannot rave enough about this place! also a wine pairing for $55?! EASY choic
One of the best meals of my life! Service was great, wine pairings were thoughtful, food was so delicious. Will definitely be coming back.
One of the only tasting menu's I absolutely love going to. Perfect mix of cuisines & wines. Highly recommend checking out Fradei in Brooklyn!!
Despite the small (spotless clean) kitchen, Chef Sam was still able to create and orchestrate delicious tasting menu for 20 plus dinners per seating. Our tasting menu comprised of spinach chips with goat cheese dip, raw scallops with sauerkraut, foie gras with brioche and pickled Maitake mushroom,
Went in without knowing much about the place, left impressed with the food, wine, and service. The garganelli with asparagus and trout roe was perfection, a bold move with eel that was delightful, fantastic tartare, top tier bread, and just an overall good time. Even the blind wine choices were righ
We liked our tasting menu meal at Fradei. The servers were all really nice, and I really enjoyed all the wine pairings. I’m not sure I would completely rave about it. I went in expecting to be a bit more blown away and left feeling like it was a bit underwhelming for the price tag. There were some i
Couldn’t have asked for a better spot in the neighborhood, hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in Brooklyn. The food was AMAZING and the wine selection was perfect! Hats off to the team and to the chefs, everyone was super attentive and kind
I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 8 years and I’ve seen a FEW places come and go but the restaurants for the most part, besides a few exceptions, are nothing special in Fort Greene. Then along comes Fradei. Everything that you want it to be, it is. They present their dishes expertly. They are delic
We had such good time at Fradei! Food was amazing, wine fitting perfectly with our expectations and great friendly service! Merci encore et à la revoyure ! 😉
Loved this restaurant and Chef Sam’s take on food. The simplicity is deceiving as there are wonderful underlying flavors in each dish without heavy sauces or too much on the plate. It’s an adventure in eating… the 6 course tasting changes once a month. Good wine list and great service, can’t wait to
Amazing food and great service. The best of Europe merged with the best of NYC (and the surrounding farms). We had 6 different dishes and all were off the charts. That sort of consistency is hard to come by. Get to know the staff and it'll make your dining experience even more memorable!
