Newtown - Brooklyn - Photo album

On my day off, I love go wandering and find my next new favorite eatery..I was craving a sabich and this place popped up in my search. For those taking the train it's about a five minute walk from the Meserole station on L train. When I arrived I looked over the menu and immediately knew that I was
Arguably some of the best vegan middle eastern food I’ve had in NYC. The menu is all vegetarian and a lot of the items are vegan! They can make a lot of things spicy and the store is so cute! They have indoor and outdoor seating plus a very New York vibe restroom. Their sandwiches are also only $11
This is an intimate, all vegetarian/vegan Middle Eastern restaurant serving affordable, flavorful, and delicious food in a quiet, industrial area of Brooklyn's East Williamsburg. There's limited interior seating space and some outdoor seating, but when we went on a weeknight for dinner, it was prett
Such a cute place! Food is fresh and taste great. The pita is incredible, the falafel is baked and I did miss the crispy exterior that I’m used to. Nice quality tea selection as well. Be mindful service can be slow, maybe not the best for a lunch break. Otherwise, I can totally recommend!
Newtown is one of my favorite places to eat in the city, hands down. I lived nearby for years, and every single time I’ve ordered from here I’m in heaven. I live on the opposite side of Brooklyn now and I still make a point to come at least once a month. The pita is soft and filled with these little
I'm of half Lebanese ancestry, my Tita (grandmother), made us the food she knew from her home country, it's a lot of what I grew up eating, what we all grew up eating and experiencing. These guy's have done justice to the ingredients and flavors while making it real portable, not just for dining in.
Some of the best, cheap middle-eastern food you will find in Brooklyn. Absolutely love everything I have tried from here. Great vegan options as well.
It’s difficult to find a vegetarian restaurant in NYC. So this jewel I discovered today was really heartfelt. Fernando is the chef and he made me a awesome sandwich this morning. And the coffee was pretty decent also. I’ll eat at Newtown whenever I’m passing through the area.
best falafel sandwich I’ve ever had! the falafel itself is just on point, and it’s a big portion so you can share or have some leftovers for later ;)
It's a nice little quaint place. With nice wooden Family style seating, and a laid back out door option. I ordered the hummus and falafel of course, with a side of olives and pickles. Im Egyptian, Turkish and moroccon. And the hummus is definitely one of the best I have ever had. Its light yet has s
Delicious. Love this spot. Everything is so good -- especially the hummus and falafel.
This is one of my favorite spots in NYC. Great vibe! Hummus is Palestinian level (that’s a good thing yea?) When its warm they have really good live music and the prices are more than reasonable. Keep it up!
One of the best middle eastern places I have eaten from in nyc - vegan shawarma sandwich and the shug and amba sauces are incredible and a great option for delivery (food travels well)!
Fantastic Mediterranean. Mushroom Hummus with a boiled egg was incredibly good. A+ quality Pita bread. Great vibes, excellent low-key date spot. Half vegan half vegetarian options.
Found this place when we first moved to Bushwick and I had been wanting to go back ever since. Went last night and it was better than I remembered. Hands down the best pita and hummus you’ll ever have. They have vegetarian and vegan options, like the seitan schawarma. The place is really small and i
Excellent flavors and preparation. Can recommend both the pita sandwiches and the hummus plates. Dining area is small but well designed.
I don’t ever write reviews but I have tears in my eyes as I write this. This is the second meal I’ve ordered from Newton and both times have been a Godly experience. The Vegan Majadra is heavenly and the Seitan Shawarma makes my heart skip a beat. Best food ever please give the chef a hug n kiss for
The best falafel in brooklyn. Must try!
