Nargis - Brooklyn - Photo album

We had gone here on a Friday evening for dinner. Let me start with a mentioning, The place has a great ambience and a very friendly staff. Nan/traditional bread and baba ghanoush. Bread was just ok. It tasted good while it was warm. Baba ghanoush was very good and authentic. I got lagman soup, whi
Very nice decorated place. Food was average, the only thing I really enjoyed was beef Kebab. Also we had Plov, Lagman soup and Steamed Manti. Meat in last two was quite hard to chew. Olive could be more flavorful. Kebab was on point, soft, smoky, and with amazingly delicious grilled vegetables. I wi
I have been to Nargis a few times and every time the food is delicious and the staff are friendly and efficient. I had never had Uzbeki cuisine and this was an excellent first experience. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and food comes out very quickly. The staff is attentive without being ove
What a welcome surprise. Overall, the best Park Slope restaurant to open since Talde. Eager service, nice decor and cannot rave enough about the dishes we had: meat Samsa, Chuchvara, Uzbek Plov well worth the visit. Skip the cocktails, decent wine and beer list.
We came as a big group and had such a good and fun lunch! Order samsa and manti! The best from their menu. It felt very cozy and they play cool music that we all recognized from back home.
Amazing spot! I was so ecstatic that they opened a second location and so close to the city. Literally my favorite food in the world and Nargis makes it the best. Would strongly recommend the fried manti, garlic fries, beef and chicken kebobs. Make sure to ask for the “tomato sauce” and get yourself
I should say kababs are really delicious! We tried chicken, lamb and luyla all realy good, the ribs was too fatty so you may want to skip that. Tounge appetizer with parsnips was really good! We also had the pilov and that was good as well.
This place is EXCELLENT. Delicious food (must have the nargis salad, rice pilaf, and chicken kebab), a lovely patio, fair prices, and great service. Highly recommend!
Food was delicious. The meat in the plov was so tender and juicy and we loved the mandi. Portions were a bit small for the price but this could be consistent with the neighbourhood. (We're from out of town)
Great casual eatery for classic Turkish food. Shishkabobs, chibureki, salads, soups and more. Great ambiance and service.
I loved the food and friendly waiters! Definitely worth dressing up for
We are used to going to their location on Coney Island Avenue but were local to Park Slope so went their for a birthday celebration. We had 22 guest and they accommodated us with 1 large table which was nice. The food options are mildly different I guess catering to the clientele but nonetheless g
Lovely decor and friendly staff. The boozy milkshake with rum was on point and went well with my brunch. I have been here before for dinner, but this was my family's first time with friends here during brunch. We had had dinner here before. From the kebab and eggs to shashuska eggs and more. Every
This Uzbek restaurant offers some of the most delicious food I've had in the city. Food is absolutely exquisite and prices are pretty cheap for the quality. Best shish kebab ever. Staff is great. I can't say enough how delicious their food is. I highly recommend it.
My first time getting Uzbek food and I can say that this is an excellent place for kebabs. My friends and I always get the big appetizer platter to share. I do wish however that they made kebab platters with rice and salads as you have to order them separately. I also enjoyed the mante (dumplings).
We were a party of ten enjoying a family reunion at Saturday brunch. The service was amazing and friendly. We ranged over three generations and have a cast of demanding and inquisitive characters who were all handled cheerfully and efficiently by a team of expert servers, one of whom had not worked
The best lamb in town. The original place is in Brighton Beach, this new place in the Slope is equally amazing. Great service, well priced wine bottles, authentic Uzbek food, and the best grilled lamb town of course. Also gets the samboosa and the grilled chicken hearts. Delicious. They have a great
Excellent Uzbek food. Where else are you going to get that, except Uzbekistan? It was very good, not dissimilar from Middle Eastern food, but unmistakably different-unlike anything I've had before. It's reasonably priced and the portions are generous. I thought it was great, and if I lived in Brookl
To be honest, this is the only Uzbeki restaurant I've ever eaten at. Doesn't really matter though, because the food is excellent. You get good portions for the price, the food is all very high quality and tasty, and I really like the atmosphere. Try to get a table in the courtyard out back if you ca
