The best sushi! It’s so fresh and the quality of the fish is always the best. They definitely don’t cheap out on the cuts, they’re huge! The service is amazing and they give free sake with a minimum purchase. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve gotten there and always make a point to go when I’m in town.
My favorite sushi in greenpoint. The fish is fresh, especially the salmon and everything is priced fair. I can’t praise them enough!

This is my first time coming to this spot. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ramen and apps here. I’m pretty picky when it comes to ramen dishes here in NYC, but this one is really good. While it doesn’t hold my number one spot of best ramen places, this is very much a great number 2
This is one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve been to in New York. For the price to quality ratio, I don’t think I’ve gotten a better value anywhere else. The sushi is fresh and the waitresses are very friendly. Unlimited sake also if you dine in at night. I would highly recommend this place!

The sushi here is very good!!! The bento box is huge, honestly two people could split it. Love getting the maki box for takeout, very good value!
To be honest for the price, I expected WAY less!! Will definitely come back next time i visit brooklyn. Beautiful fish and presentation, pleasant ambiance, free sake at dinner and quite frankly the quality was well above average. I guess that’s motivation to tip well! ;) Thank u ichiban!

Such fantastic Japanese restaurant! Sushi melts in your mouth, oshinko selection is great, and free hot sake after 5pm (winter time perhaps)!
I have been coming to this restaurant for years for amazing, super fresh sushi and amazing prices. They are generous with food portions and extras (Like free sake with dinner!) and have extremely friendly and attentive staff. Sapporo Ichiban No1 is my favorite place in NYC for casual sushi dining.
