I recently visited the Vineapple establishment and had a wonderful experience. I decided to celebrate my birthday with brunch at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Awesome atmosphere, unique among Brooklyn Heights eateries. Feels like an eclectic Austin coffee shop, with awesome funk. The food is delicious and I look forward to returning to the live music events on Friday evenings.
This is one of the neighborhood gems you have to look for. Delicious food, friendly service and the space is quiet and comfortable. I stopped for an early breakfast before 9:00, and I didn't have to wait that much to get it ready.

I love places with a vibe. The engery when I walked in was uplifting. The staff was patient and very helpful as a first-timer. I enjoyed a breakfast bagle and a latte.
First time getting coffee in Brooklyn and was not disappointed. The barista let us know they were out of whole milk and offered substitute options. Drink was well made and tasted great. We will definitely be visiting again.

Loved our spontaneous dinner here on a Wednesday night! We sat out front which was great. We each got a cocktail, split a crostini, each got a pasta dish, and shared a side of roasted butternut squash. The pasta of the day that I had was delicious — gnocchi with a creamy sauce and Brussels sprouts.
What a wonderful place. It's a cafe, but serves full-sized portions for dinner. When we were there, there was live music. Try the short rib ragu and pumpkin bread pudding.
