The General Greene - Brooklyn - Photo album

Came here for dinner, the place was nice with low lights and felt very cozy. We ordered the Burger which was great, smoked chicken which was delicious, and creme roulette which was OK. Service was quick and good, and over all it was a nice experience. The problem was with the drinks, they weren't th
We came between brunch and dinner (roughly 4pm on a Saturday), and unfortunately the only items available were a Kobe burger and a veggie burger. Fortunately, the Kobe burger was delicious. And the fries (they were the skinny kind) were even better -- and I'm a fry snob. It was mostly empty when w
Fantastic food and friendly wait staff. Great place for brunch, lunch, or dinner. The wait for food is a bit longer than usual but the quality more than makes up for it. There's usually a good crowd here at peak times. It won't be overly loud, but not a place for intimate/quiet conversation at th
The space is amazing, cozy and beautifully decorated. Reminds me of the restaurants I've been to in France. The food is good. Not the best pizza in Brooklyn but it's good they are half off during happy hour. Can't really beat it.
I really liked this cozy brightly light restaurant. I went for brunch. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles. The waffle was well made, very crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. The chicken was perfectly fried. Not greasy at all. I also ordered the maple candied bacon. It was swe
I love this place. Since we moved to the neighborhood I have been trying to venture out and try all the spots around here but we can't seem to stop going to the greene. Their fried chicken is nuts (except I think the recently changed the cornbread recipe, I liked the old one better) and when Im cr
I had the chicken and waffles which I loved. The biscuit and the donoughts were fantastic. My friends tuna dish was ill conceived and I would not recommend. Service was friendly buto slow. I would return.
OK, I do not like orange vegetables...which eliminates most of TGG's sides for me. They do have some of the best fried chicken this side of the South. I just wish the chef found ordinary green sides like spinach acceptable and not collard greens, which taste like, well, grass. And what's wrong wit
The pulled pork sandwich was just ok. A little on the smaller side. The bun was a little light for my taste. French fries were fantastic though.
Mac and Cheese! Happy Hour! Great location, friendly staff- loves to chit chat. Can't wait to come back. I always come back! Such a great vibe. I've been coming here for years. Thanks!
Super tasty brunch spot, one of the best bacon in oyster sandwiches I have ever had. The cocktails are good too, definitely worth trying out
