Really great good and drinks! I got the carnitas taco and a lime margarita, both were super good! Worth checking out
This restaurant was rated with one Michelin star in 2021 and 2022. It is worth checking. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were large. They have margaritas and mezcalritas in 6 different flavors, and my favorite was the passionfruit. The staff was very friendly too! I can’t wait to come
I’d been to many Mexican spots in the last year that turned me off to the food and experience, and randomly on a day least expected I went to this spot not expecting much and got some of the best food I’ve had in a while. The waiter helped a lot with the choices and when they messed something up the
Gordo’s Cantina is INCREDIBLE! They are open and have a good outdoor dining set up. Can’t wait to go back! I tried the open faced poblano and corn burnt cheese quesadilla and the shrimp tacos - both hit it out of the park. For dessert, their key lime pie is the best I’ve ever tasted!!! It’s creamy w
Awesome food. Pretty sizeable portions, quick and friendly staff, and nice cozy location. I definitely over ordered, not expecting the tacos to be as packed as they were. But it's called Gordo's for a reason lol. I got the shrimp tacos, octopus tacos, and open faced steak quesadillas. Everything was
Worth checking out if you are in the area! Positives: - Food: This spot was Michelin rated in 2021 and the food lives up to the expectations. Ordered the carne asada quesadilla and tiger shrimp tacos. Both items were good and had decent size portions. - Drinks: There are 6+ different Margarita flav
Born and raised in the neighborhood. Seen a lot of businesses come and go. What makes this place stand out is the homemade tortillas. At first I was a little skeptical when I saw the tacos were $4 each. Pretty high for my standards to be honest, but then the order came in and I was super excited. Wh
BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN NYC. Quality ingredients, authentic dishes with innovative twists. Gordo’s is the only place I ever go out to eat to. The guac is always fire, the chips are always fresh! Delicious! Excellent! Yummy! Time to go back! Loved the variations of guacamole. And the chilaquiles were flavorful with just the right amount of everything.
Consistently phenomenal food, amazing happy hour, a chill and friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and great at mixing fantastic drinks. An absolute Bushwick must! The El Presidente burrito is a personal favorite and their Guac Trio is always a great start.
Checked out this place on Thursday night at around 10:15 pm. They close at 11, but were still taking orders. Also good thing is, they started serving alcohol. They have Pacifico and Modelo on draft, priced at $7 and $3 (small glass). We ordered some Taco's and Burritos. While they were not packed w
I decided to visit Gordo's Cantina after spotting it on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list and it didn't disappoint. I had two of the menu items off their recommended list: Black Tiger Shrimp Tacos with Menonita Cheese and the Roasted Poblano and Corn Quesadilla plus a fresh hibiscus margarita to boot.
Incredible food. Awesome vibes, great music, friendly staff, generous portions, amazing flavor. Everything was insanely delicious. Highly recommend the steak quesadilla
Decided to visit as I was in the neighborhood. Cozy place with friendly staff, incredible food and drinks. The salsa is amazing.
Good food, friendly staff, buzzing atmosphere. Food is delicious, highly recommend the carnitas tacos and the quesadillas! Would stick with beer if you plan to drink here. Their home made chips are also great. Staff are friendly and engaging. Sit at the bar and you get to watch all your food be coo
