Great food wonderful service. The decor is awesome and plenty of room. The food presentation was awesome as well. I ate the seared ahi tuna, it tasted amazing. We were driving by on the interstate and decided to look for a nicer place to have lunch with the family, this fit the bill perfectly. Worth taking the extra time.

Loved the atmosphere. Lovely decor . The waiter was very nice and knew his stuff. The food was very very good. I had a fresh pita and a taco salad. Both were very yummy.

I have been here 3 times. The first time was almost 2 years ago and everything was great. We went twice more in the past few months and ended up being super disappointed with the service but the food was good. The last time I went with my boyfriend we had a horrible experience. We got the worst attitude from our server Sophia. She slapped our menus down and told us we only had 10 minutes to order. I felt so uncomfortable because they had their staff Christmas party going on and felt like we were ruining their night by coming to eat. I’ve never felt like an inconvenience eating out before. We got drinks and left. Never coming back.

We have been to this restaurant a few times but it had been a year of so. We have never had a bad experience here but we went yesterday and the service was terrible. I asked the employees three times for sugar for my tea and my husbands tea and first time she brings one little pack. My husband asked the waitress for some more and she never brought it to us. I eventually got up and went to the bar to ask and again she said do you want one pack or like 2? I said how about 5. The only reason I gave this restaurant one star is because the pita was pretty good. However, fries were way over salted, I couldn't even finish them. I won't be back after this experience.

Great service, drinks and food! I had the crispy chicken sandwich. It was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. My margarita on the rocks was also great. The man that waited on us was very nice and made sure we were taken care of but didn't go overboard. I will eat there again.

The food here is absolutely delicious! It is the perfect spot to grab lunch with a friend. The atmosphere is cozy and it's also family friendly. Service is relatively fast and friendly. The fries are especially delicious and unique. They serve Coke products instead of Pepsi which is always a plus in my book. All in all it's a great restaurant!

Excellent food, drinks, staff, and atmosphere! I would highly recommend this place. Nightly specials - Saturday is 1/2 price drinks for ladies!!!

Overall it was a good experience. The place had a kitschy hipster vibe and was very accommodating. The restaurant was clean and the staff were very friendly. I had the Cajun salmon with rice and Brussels sprouts and Emily had the Ahi tuna with the same sides. Both entrees were delicious, but way over salted int the seasoning. Halfway through our meal it seemed like our waitress became non existent, so the bar staff picked up the slack. Definitely 3.5 outta 5 stars.

Service was awesome but to top it all off the burger was the best I've eaten in years. The Caprese burger sounded interesting so I got it. Quality stuff. I even took everything of the Pattie to check it out fo realzzzz. Great taste. Road trip worthy.

This place is a hidden gem in SD! Great atmosphere and the food was AMAZING! I seriously wanted to stay and order everything off the menu! I will come back to Brookings JUST to come eat here!

Let's see.....had a table of 8. 4 of the 8 of us had issues with the food. 3 had the wrong food brought out. The steak was like shoe leather, could barely cut it with the knife. One didnt receive her food. Waitress came back to say they forgot to make it. It was fettuccine alfredo. 15 minutes later they brought it out. Noodles were hard, not cooked completely. They said they would give a discount on the meal. Checks came, a discount of $2.60 was given on a meal that was late and inedible. We do not complain about meals, even when they arent up to our liking for the most part. Our experience tonight was a disaster. Not sure we will be back any time in the foreseeable future. I am giving it a 2 because my chicken in the chicken parmigiana was good.

Best hummus in the whole world! Fantastic martinis, great and friendly staff, one of the best atmospheres in Brookings. Love Old Market!

Atmosphere was fantastic! Great pasta, wraps, burgers and cupcakes. Seared ahi tuna was a standout. Wide range of beers on tap and in cans and bottles. We had a party of nine that they accommodated at 6:30 on a Saturday night.

Looking for a nice place to sit down, get a bite to eat, sip on a cold one, and enjoy some live entertainment? Old Market Eatery/Bake Shoppe/Bar is the spot in Brookings for just that! Great food, good drinks, very nice staff, and Friday nights expect live entertainment in their very clean and comfortable indoor/outdoor patio! The sound was awesome, Earthway Four filled all of 5th Ave with energy on May 31st and will be back in July and August for more! Used to be awesome but it's not consistent now. Sometimes good...sometimes not so good food. Service is usually good.

My rating would be a five if they didn’t change the cheesecake! The old cheesecake was obviously homemade and amazing. The cheesecake I had tonight was awful �

Dear Old Market, on Wednesday night you guys had a spicy pasta as your special. It was fantastic. Please make it be a regular menu item!

Food was not too bad, but we waited forever for it.
