Review Golden Eagle Diner - Bronx

Everything was great. Place was clean, my wife was happy about it. And the coffee was amazing.

Had the chicken tenders & waffles, one of the best ive ever had. The staff were nice and food came out decently fast. I love this place for my first visit and would come back again. You should give this place a try if your around.

I had a burger and fries here and finished it with some cheesecake. Sounds simple huh? Nope, best burger I’ve tasted in the Bronx and the fries were so freshly cut, I actually ate them with no ketchup! The cheesecake was definitely homemade, I know this because I make great cheesecake at the house, and I was able to taste every ingredient. This is why I love being a local guide, it’s all about flavor and meeting great people.

I don't think I've ever ordered anything I didn't like from this diner. Fast service, they deliver, and they have a decent-size area to sit and dine in. I mainly order takeout due to the pandemic but the food is still good.

Overall-food, ambiance, prices & service gets 4 stars. Food is decent. I ordered my usual diner breakfast which was pancakes, two eggs, & sausage. Collectively, I was satisfied but didnt taste anything special enough to point out. I took notice that the menu is really dedicated for breakfast with a sprinkle of lunch items. The diner has a good "homey" feel where everyone is family no matter how you look or what you wore. I came in with pajamas, coat, & look quite ridiculous to be out in public with what I was wearing but the servers are very friendly & professional. Music was playing Christmas music bc it was the season which gave it a warm & cozy feeling. The staff is friendly, they knew everyone who walked in by name & greeted everyone a good morning. Service was very fast. As soon as I sat, I was given a water and menu and shortly asked what I would want. Five to eight minutes after ordering, my food arrived ready for my consumption. Every few minutes, I was given more coffee without having to ask. Prices are below average for diners nowadays. I was very satisfied with my bill after having a big breakfast plus coffee and orange juice. My bill came out to $10.75!! Never have I ever paid so little for food, juice & coffee. Absolutely no complaints. 👌👍 All in all, stop by when in the area & bring family when looking for simple and cheap pleasures.

Not bad for the price. $13 with some seltzer water.

The waitress is super friendly, super courteous..prices on point, bathroom is super clean and smells good..Breakfast was yummy❤
