I am not a fast food person at all, but I do love fried chickens...who doesn't!...so I was hungry and the place surprised me. Ultra clean, great price and food was very good. Actually better than KFC, but Popeyes is still the best!

If you're getting off the 5 train at the Gunhill Road station and want to grab a quick meal to take home, check out Kennedy Fried Chicken. While this location is not new it is under new ownership and they have made a number of improvements...one being service. Don't judge them from what you might have experienced from the previous owners. This is a whole new ball game and they are hitting home runs.

The folks are really nice here. It was my first time to any of the shops so wasn’t sure what to expect.
The chicken was actually nice and tender. We got a healthy portion size for the amount paid.
While this is somewhat out of the control of the workers many people came in were not wearing mask.
It could just be the location that this store is situated though. They had signs posted everywhere about social distancing but people just seems still not get it. The staff however behind the counter were all wearing mask.

For whatever reason, this place stands out among the rest. Fresh new look, always fresh food. It's like after all the renovation, it's a 5 star restaurant (I gave it a 4 before). If someone asks me if I ever want Kennedys, this is the only one in willing to eat at

They just renovated. A lot cleaner than it used to be. Service is as fast as you can expect Kennedy's to be.
