Love going here maria and many of the girls are soooo nice but there are a few....that are not and will bypass you if you dont speak Spanish but overall they are really cool love the food
Update 3years later all the girls that worked in this store are ALL gone Maria the cook is gone..
The food is not what it used to be
I bought Avena yesterday there was so many cloves in it I ended up throwing the whole cup out.
There are only Spanish speaking young ladies now and they will ignore you or go to tethers 1st
Won’t be back and I was a regular here..
Oh ordered chicarones they were so hard and broken up ..threw it out as well

We happened to walk by this restaurant on our way to a fast food restaurant and decided to try this instead. The food was amazing! The steak, so tasty! Really good beans! The combo was so much food for us 4 adults. They accommodated our kids, giving them fries.
The waitress was so friendly! What a jewel so close to the Bronx zoo. This will be our go-to every time we visit the zoo from now on.

I got a seafood medley thing with some calamari and the pickled pink onions. Was bomb. The lady was nice. Store looks clean. Pretty good amount of customers were there so the food must be good.

I ordered the chicharrón combo. The food was delicious and flavorful. Nice, big portions. Although, the salad is small. The service was good. I ordered takeout and it did not take long to get the order. I will definitely order in the future.
