Wow this place is delicious. It doesn’t look like much but the tacos here are among the best in NY. The food is delicious, the staff are kind, the portions are generous, the salsa is flavorful and the guacamole is made with love. Will definitely be back to try more from the menu!

I love this spot. You can see them throw the meats on the grill from the pot they are marinating it in. The quality is great and big portions. Highly suggest! I need to stop JUST getting burritos but they are so much better than any other place nearby.

What a great find! This little hole in the wall specializes in cuisine from the Mexican province of Sinaloa and make some awesome tacos - some a bit different from those found in other taquerias around the city. I started with a pozole soup and the spicy broth with tender chicken was perfect for the cold afternoon. I highly recommend the Sinaloan taco which is served crispy with melted cheese beans and meat, but even their more traditional tacos were excellent - all really full and served in very good corn tortillas. The carnitas especially were excellent, tender yet a bit crispy with just the right amount of fat mixed in. Delicious!

A little basement restaurant come take out that you'd probably walk past. DON'T. Go down those difficult stairs because inside you are going to find some of the best tacos you've ever tasted. Great deals on daily lunch specials and discounts for students too. Highly recommended.

I feel so fortunate to have a restaurant like this in my neighborhood. I have been several times and still have a ton of things to explore. Everything I have eaten so far has been amazing from enchiladas to tortas and finally today I got quesabirria. I wish I had gotten this sooner! Not to mention that the staff is super friendly and helpful. If you are in the area, definitely check this place out.

MÉXICO 🇲🇽 Eat the World NYC review: Marble Hill is home to a tiny little taqueria with a name just as odd for New York City as the history of how the neighborhood is part of Manhattan. In the area's most southerly street, overlooking the tracks of Metro North and the Harlem River, a few steps down brings you into Taqueria Sinaloense, of course named for the state of Sinaloa in northwest México known for some of the most delicious cuisine in all the country. Unfortunately for New York City, most people from this state have remained out west. Los Angeles, much of southern California, and Arizona are populated with Sinaloan restaurants, where even regional differences and rivalries between the cities of Culiacán and Mazatlán can be tasted in neighboring establishments. We briefly were entertained by a restaurant in Queens of the same name that whetted the appetites of even the paper of record before closing down suddenly after less than a year. After somewhat of a disappointment with the rest of the order, the pozole was pure joy. In Sinaloa the pozoles are normally red with chile pasilla or chile ancho, but they go a step further here and turn the pork hominy soup into a fiery dream with chiles de arbol, a much spicier cousin. The broth is also full of garlic and onions buried within, and worth coming for on its own.

Delicious authentic Mexican food!!! I could order from them forever. Such a pleasant and welcoming ambiance when you enter. Their food is freshly made when you order. They are always so kind and helpful. This is LEGIT my favorite food spot. It’s the best thing 225th has. I am a HUGE fan of their pupuas and chicken flautas. Everything I’ve ordered from them has yet to disappoint. I Highly recommend ordering from them!!!!

Great place hidden away in Marble Hill. Highly recommend anything with carnitas. It's right outside the train station and 1 subway. If travelling by car, there's free parking at the Target nearby.

The Sinaloan style pulled pork, chilorio, is absolutely amazing... flavorful yet not overly spicy. Heat can be achieved by adding their orange hot sauce, which they call chile del arbol. Aesthetically, this place is nothing special, but the food here is the true rock star. Also worth noting is the service is fantastic.
