Little neighborhood place, very fresh food, friendly, courteous staff, and a good price point. We've gone twice, both times were great experiences. I like that it's small...it feels like a hidden gem for locals, and hopefully our next visit is just as nice.

Mama Puebla is a local Mexican restaurant in the Bronx on Tremont with a rustic vibe. Order a couple mojitos with their friendly staffs while enjoying great Spanish music and browsing through their gigantic menu. There’s no bread here but delicious salsa and chips while you wait for your food. Drinks and food come out quick and fresh and most importantly, very authentic with a New York twist. Even though it was a rainy day, inside is a beautiful Mexican night full of flavor. We ordered the tres leches dessert to finish off dinner that really hits the spot.

Nice place. Walk too fast, and you'll miss it. Had the Cemita sandwich with al pastor. Delicious! Also tried their yellow rice, the cheese quesadilla and fish taco, all also very good. The young lady who served us was super prompt and friendly. All the orders went through without an issue. I'm definitely going back again. Recommended.

Excellent customer service. The food was fresh and came fast. The guacamole was a nice size and so creamy. We had enchiladas verdes con pollo and a chicken burrito. And they were both delicious as well as the guacamole. My new favorite Mexican food spot!

Best authentic Mexican restaurant cuisine I've had since I lived in the Southwest. My favorite dish, chile rellenos, is the absolute best I've ever had anywhere. The hot sauces for your dishes are homemade and delicious! Andrea prepares the chili relleonos daily, and there are none better in New York City. Wherever you reside in New York, Mama Pueblo is worth the journey to satisfy your craving for authentic homemade Mexican cuisine that is made with love.
