The food was delicious and the service is great. It's a local, authentic Bangladesh restaurant in the Bronx. As a vegetarian, it's great to have good options. If you care about supporting local businesses, support them! They're great.

The place has been renovated under new management with a new name "Curry and Kebab". The new restaurant is also very very good.

Spicy like no other, this is south Asian cuisine the likes of which is almost impossible to find on this continent. Sodesh is ideal because it delivers this sensational flavor at a surprisingly low price. We typically take out, but you can eat on site in their little storefront. It isn't glamorous, but the food is outstanding if you are interested in a hot and complex taste of Bangladesh.
