Review Barino's - Bronx

Amazing sandwich spot in the Bronx! Had to pick up something to eat at work and passed by this. Walked in, was greeted right away, great atmosphere with the workers and patrons. Tons of regulars in that place that the staff knew by name. I loved it, ypu don't see that anymore. The food. . . Oh boy, the food. I took about 10 minutes trying to figure out what I wanted because everything looked good. I went with the Inferno. Hot roast beef with melted pepper jack and Cajun mayo. Soft bread, quality meat, and cheese, with just the right amount of spice. Next time I get a sandwich, I have to get the hero size. It's worth having some leftover.

Recently had catering done by Barino's for a breakfast buffet and it was fantastic! Everything came packaged beautifully, hot and delicious. Presentation was awesome too! Their sandwiches as well are phenomenal, literally have not had anything bad here food wise not service wise. If you're coming through the Throgs Neck, definitely do a quick detour and grab your to go meal and enjoy it on your ride to wherever you're headed!

Stopped in during a 21 hour drive from Massachusetts to Nashville and wow!!! Amazing staff, GREAT food, the owner was incredibly kind and even threw in some salads for us. I travel all around the country every week and this place had the nicest staff I've ever seen. You won't be disappointed!

Ppl listen up if you a foodie like me especially with good Italian sammich yup sammich BARINO'S ILYYYYY THIS PLACE ROCKS the sammiches are out of this world my family is picky when it comes to food and we were SO HAPPPYYYYY 😀 the food is amazing my mother loves pastrami but it must be well cooked juicey fresh not over powered by salt it was amazing the pastrami was fresh delish just the right amount of salt not only are sammiches good the food amazing BARINO'S YOU AND I ARE FAMILY THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY FAMILY HAPPY WE FOUND OUR FOODIE HOME 😍🤩🥰😃😉 so ppl if you find yourself wanting great quality food fresh made they way you like come on down you won't be disappointed 😀mangiare mangiare

I came in for an Italian combo that I’ve been craving. It’s been so long!! I don’t know his name but he’s covered in tattoos 😍. He made the Gods of all Italian combos!!! The best I’ve had in my life. Kay'elle school provided dinner to all parents and students who attended the recital! Barino's Market provided the catering for the event! I highly recommend the spinach lasagna! Delicious!

grew up going to this place and all the workers that have been there since it opened still know me by name. moved out of New York in 2009 & when I came back, they remembered me & even remembered where I moved to. everyone who works here are just amazing people & I'll forever rave about Barinos. best people & best food around!

Best deli in the Bronx by far. Friendly/courteous staff and great food

Went there for Valentine's Day to pick up some ravioli. Decided on one heart shaped and one spinach with a roll for some garlic bread. Got home and in the middle of cooking a romantic dinner for my fiancé, discovered that the heart raviolis were moldy! Returned to the store the next day. The same gentleman who rang me up the day before acknowledged they were moldy and instructed his partner to give me my money back. I was prepared with my card, but he instead without asking handed me $7 from the register. I did not have my receipt on me as I wanted to get there before they closed but I knew something wasn't right. Of course there were no prices anywhere but I remembered a total of almost $20. I told them they had underfunded me, at first they insisted they were right and that each ravioli was $7. When I pressed them with simple math ($14 for two ravioli would mean they charged $5 for a roll) and a copy of my credit card statement I had brought up on my phone, they were still uninterested and reponded with "well how much do you think we owe you then?" In a last ditch attempt to fudge through it, the man said well there is taxes...except nothing I bought was taxable. Finally II said at least another dollar which the man forked over so he could get rid of me. Imagine my surprise when their website showed a higher set of prices and my receipt a third set of prices and no tax. Bottom line the staff was barely apologetic, incompetent and lazy, a very poor experience.

Delicious food, excellent service !! Delivery orders whether they are a few lunches for the office or for a party of 50 will be correct and on time. Simply the best. If you are in Country Club, Throggs Neck or Pelham Bay don't look anywhere else
