Totally, totally recommend! We were a bit skeptical about going to Hunts point and we live in the Bronx but it was well worth it. Meet the owner, who was extremely friendly and grateful. Was very busy at 11:30am. Constantly people coming in and out. We had Tamal Ranchero with Pork salsa tamal with added pickled red onions, Chilaquiles verde with Steak (a very filling plate and crispy tortillas A+) and two beers. It was so good we got two rajas and a dulce strawberry to go. I recommend this place to anyone. Worth the visit. I’m gonna see if righteous eats will come out and visit this place! Amazing, Thank you for having us. Will make the trip again!
P.S next we will take pictures were so hungry and it was so good it was gone before I knew it.

Just ordered from ubereats! The tamales were delicious. Great quality and they include a variety of sauces. It was freshly made and perfect flavor. Their tamales are VERYYYY good as well as their chilaquiles ! The green sauce is flavorful and spicy. I tried the chicken quesadilla as well the only bad thing is that they automatically put the lettuce inside, but that is not an issue. Worth the trip here!

A unique place that focus on tamales. They have a variety of flavors to choose from, even vegetarian options. Everyone should be able to find a flavor they like.
I really enjoyed having a tamale witth egg, which is their most popular dish. I washed it down with a delicious champurado drink. It was the perfect breakfast.
Located in the Hunts Point area the restaurant has a very pretty green and yellow theme. The staff was very friendly.
We tried several other flavor of tamales, they all tasted great. I recommend checking this place out. I hope to get back there soon. Like the sign says on the door "Start your day with a tamale".

I had placed an order for 24 tamales. When I arrived home I was short 10 tamales. It was Christmas Eve and I was obviously very upset.
I reached out to management and they were truly sorry for the mistake.
They even offered to bring me tamales the next morning! I will say, it’s one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you so much City Tamale. Best Tamale in NYC!!

One of my favorite tamale spots near me my brother comes here brought my boyfriend as well he loved the strawberry tamale. My favorite is the veggie tamale with cheese. Never disappointed.
