This food was definitely on point. Came here with my coworker for lunch and was more than satisfied. Can't wait to try something else. Have been going regularly and really enjoy the food here.

Oxtail is well seasoned; however the rice and peas needs coconut milk. This is not the only Jamaican establishment that opts-out of the coconut milk due to cost. The coconut milk would add real flavor value to the rice and peas, which will then compliment the dish entirely.

Service was very pleasant and accommodating. We got the jerk chicken and oxtails with rice and peas and cabbage. They let us use different types of gravy for our rice. They also do delivery on they're own site and take cards.

Delicious cornmeal porridge that I have found this far. I dont have to travel to Uniondale anymore. The fried dumpling was nice and fresh. Haven't been there for lunch/dinner. Everyone keeps talking about the oxtail--will try next time

In the 45,000 times i been here, I've only had one "bad" order. When back the next day day and had the best meal ever. Their consistency is on point, flavor is A1. The ladies are always nice and pleasant to me (cuz I'm handsome). Definitely my top 3 in the Bronx, period.
Also- they grill their Jerk chicken on a real grill, none of that oven baked nonsense.

Excellent!!!! From CT, happened to be in the area and craving Jamaican food. Absolutely amazing and the ladies give great portion sizes. I got the curried goat and a fried dumpling. Some of the best goat I've had in awhile!!! ❤ Will def be back!

Went on a cruise to the Caribbean and one port of call was Jamaica. Got introduced to the islands cuisine and really enjoyed it.
Returned home and have been missing that island taste until I came across TOP CHOICE Jamaican and West Indian restaurant at 746 Lydig Ave, Bronx, NY 10462.
This is the flavor of the dishes I remembered, real authentic. There are only four tables for dining so this is mainly an order and go place, I don’t mind that as I really like to “dig in” to their food and that might become embarrassing.
I am always greeted with a smile by the staff and everything I have tried on the menu has been excellent (plan on making my way through entire menu). If ever in this part of town and wanting a savory meal I recommend you give this place a visit.
