Review Kai Sushi Asian Fusion - Bronx

Heard alot about this place, so had to give it a try. I was not disappointed. Sushi was phenomenal! I could eat it all day! Freshly prepared, melt in your mouth! The other dishes weren't too exciting. The staff was very friendly helped us pick our choices from the menu. Service was pretty quick. Would love to go back for the sushi!

Food was good and service was mediocre. Upon arrival I killed a bug of some sort on my napkin. Not sure what kind of bug it was but it was unpleasant to know it was crawling near the silverware on the table. The dining experience was overall good. Recommend this spot if you want sushi at an affordable rate.

Great food here. Food is good and tasty. Recommend the Sweet Chili Chicken, it’s amazing. Just wish the service was more attentive when you want to order and to pay the check. One the food is served, it’s rude to constantly take away plates when I’m still trying to finish. Feeling rushed is not the feeling you want when you’re trying to enjoy good food. Aside from the food, quality service also plays a role. Keep that in mind Kia!

My favorite is fried rice house specials -- update 2023 Jan i went back for more fried rice this time it upgrade from the last fried rice. the color and that char taste is as good as in Chinatown. waiter i got was friendly fill the water when it was empty. and ofcourse the hot oil is well made

The waiter was great. He entertained my daughter with high fives. Entertained with my parents, sister and son. We played toss my debit card around because I told him not to take my mom's card. They played a happy Birthday song to my son who had turned 16th on the 23rd of February. The food was great. This was the first time my 3 yr old ate sushi. I just forgot she didn't like avocados so she picked out the avocado out of her California roll. It was a great and different night as we usually go to Applebee's to celebrate a Birthday in our family, but my son and I wanted to try new place for his birthday. The two pics are the same but took at a different angles. But I have the combo of two sushi which was Sweetheat (I tried for the frmirst time) and the Kai Roll (which I had a few times and love so much).

Wow!!! Absolutely loved this place. Met up with one of my best friends there last night to grab a bite. First of all, they included a free appetizer with some yummy sauces for us to have while we waited for our food. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a restaurant that did this. Great first impression! The sushi was pretty good and so was the appetizer (pictured below). The waiters were also super nice and friendly. I will definitely be going back. Food was fresh , the decor was nice, the waiter met our needs. Cracked a few jokes. When he brought my food, his hands smelled of cigarettes. Aside from that, the experience was great. Would recommend and would dine here for sure.

Small quiet restaurant. I think it could use better light and update their decor. The service was impeccable. The food was good.

One of the best Asian Fusions in the area. Food was delicious and fresh & came out fairly quick and hot. Price point was very fair considering the portion they gave which was very generous. Very spacious and the atmosphere was pleasant to dine at. The staff always come with a smile and accommodated every needs without a problem. I would come back again because it's hands down one of the best Asian Fusions with a vast majority of items in the menu! Keep up the good work!

First time coming to this place and i fell in love with the food already. As a person that works in the field of costumer service, I expect the best. I must say, they have achieved it. Since we walked in, perfect environment, music was loud enough to listen but not over powering our conversation. The waiters were very nice, patient and attentive. The food was delicious, very fresh and quick. Plus is three blocks away from my gym, so i will be coming very often. Over all, the perfect spot for me. Will definitely recommend it. Its a 5 stars for me!!

Excellent food no matter how many times I order from Kai ! It’s fresh and delicious! I ordered chicken with broccoli and pork fried rice. Delicious! Highly recommend it!

My family and I really enjoyed our time at Kai. The food was delicious, the service was fast, and the staff was great! My kids loved the food (I have a picky son) and even wanted dessert. I needed wheelchair access to get in, which they only have steps in the front…the staff was so accommodating at Kai, as they opened their back door for us, and made things so easy and pleasurable. Definitely will be returning soon! Thank you for a wonderful night.

one of my favorite places! the food is always good, the waiters are really nice, and the restaurant itself is always clean and cozy. the chicken servings are huge! you really get your moneys worth, and the 3 sushi combo is perfect for when you go to someone else. 1000% recommend 👌 update: went again yall and its even good as leftovers straight out of the fridge

I seen this place change names over the years but it's still a decent spot but the food was as good as it used to be I would still eat there but it was one of my favorite joints when it was new Hawaiian sea sushi was still great like always but I remember when this spot was great now its good but not the same.

The waiter was a little sarcastic. My niece asked if she replace the egg roll with something else, he said no. Our meal is a combo special that came with soup main course and ice cream. After our meal, he didn't offer the ice cream and we forgot to ask. Next time I go and get the same waiter, I will ask for another waiter

Amazing place, their Roast Duck is exquisite!
