Review Joe"s Italian Deli - Bronx

I bought a Sanpellegrino, an Italian Sparkling Orange Drink. The store is excellently organized and stocked. They keep their Italian sauces and quality meats in good condition. I would go back to this deli to complement the experience of Little Italy. The Italian food and spices are always displayed the best in Joe’s Italian Deli, right in Little Italy. On another day, I was sitting at the table in the deli, drinking a brand of cactus water I got from the store. It naturally energized me for the day of my afternoon meeting with my supervisor. The drink was amazing. Meanwhile, I asked about the olives they sell on display. They look authentic for specialty pastas and salads. Must go back for more.

Quick and lovely service from the Italian lady behind the counter and a nice fresh mozzarella sample by the owner himself. Sweet guy and made me feel right at home. I will most definitely be coming back!!

This place is truly a gem in a small neighborhood in the Bronx. Everything made and sold here is fresh and of great quality. The Deli can be found in Little Italy in the Bronx. The staff is cordial, and very amicable. They offer hot foods, as well as a huge variety of sandwiches. They have a catering menu, and many more things to satisfy the most demanding food critic. I strongly recommend stopping by and checking them out for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Great sandwich! I got The Strongest and it doesn't fall short. The octopus is very tender with good flavor. It's a treat once in awhile, better when it's good. No disappointment here. May other food on their hot table plus a real deli.

Very good sandwiches! Not cheap, but they are fairly large.

Wow, definitely one of the better Italian Combos I've had. I can't wait to try everything else.....

Edit: I had an underwhelming experience BUT what I had was tasty, the owner reached out to me, took complete ownership and invited me back to make up for it. I haven’t gone but the effort for great hospitality and personally contacting me is what makes places owned by great people successful. Too often places will just ignore your review and move on. 4 stars. I appreciate you. Come eat here. They care.

I ordered “The Last Meal” and it was a great sandwich. Hopefully not my last meal.

Kurt was amazing gave us 2 special sandwiches and made us feel like true guests. Loved it there, was only my second time and am planning my third soon.

The Meatball and Italian subs, soups and salads are SO amazing! My mouth waters just thinking about it!!! AND not to mention there's an amazing Lunch Box deal that includes all choices for under 12$!!! Jo's is officially our favorite lunch date spot! �

I just found my new place in Little Italy the best food around.

I love the shop and the guy that waited on us. He was at Mike's deli prior such a great personality. Amazing cheeses highly recommend.

Joe's Italian Deli has the best fresh made mozzarella whenever we take a trip to Arthur Ave area it is a must and for my dad who grew up in Italy says by far Joe's has the best mozzarella and who else better to judge their sandwiches are awesome and the deli is reasonably priced over all...

Amazing! Absolutely the best mozzarella. We used them for catering my daughter's baptism, and the food was delicious! There was no lacking for taste or quality. Everyone at the party went up for seconds, even thirds. Their 5 foot hero was so good. The bread was super soft and fresh, the cold cuts were also very fresh. There's no way we would use anyone else after using them. The quality of their food can't be beat.

I went to Joe's Deli this morning and got 2 Italian Combos that Al made. I rate them a #10. I love da Bronx. See you all soon!

We were looking for an authentic Italian deli whilst in New York. We wandered over to the Bronx and found Joe's deli. We weren't disappointed. Can't wait to go back. Tried Katz but Joe's deli was the true experience we were looking for.
