Absolutely loved this place! First time eating Albanian food and was satisfied with every food item. Started with pepper dip and burek (cheese) served with fresh bread. Then got Fasul and Qebapa, both so tasty. Too full for dessert but will definitely go again! With only two people on the staff when we went, they were very efficient. Got a little busier as it got closer to 8pm so 6pm was the perfect time.

I’m an avid foodie, and I’ve been in NYC searching high and wide for the best food experiences for months now. I have found it. Every dish here is INCREDIBLE. We had the sausage dip, the mantia në tavë, and the skenderberg (Albania’s national dish). Afterward, we got the baklava and some Albanian cafe. Everything was rich and tasty, but not too filling either. Bring a whole group of people and try a little bit of everything. The atmosphere is amazing. You genuinely feel transported out of NYC into Albanian folklore. The service is great too. I genuinely can’t recommend this place any higher.

I saw the manhattan location of this restaurant on TikTok and the food looked great! When I found out there was a Bronx location I was shocked and eager to give this place a try. We arrived and were quickly greeted by a lovely waiter who showed his knowledge of the food and culture. He made phenomenal recommendations that we scarfed down. The food was beautifully plated and extremely filling. I would most definitely come back over and over again

Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent ambience. I stepped into the restaurant and felt whisked away to a different place and time. The owners did an incredible job with designing and decorating the place. I wasn’t able to take photos of the food but it was delicious and cooked to perfection. We ordered a bunch of appetizer dips, oven baked lamb and rice, mixed platter of meat, and Turkish coffee. It was incredibly reasonably priced for all the food we ate. Definitely visit this hole in the wall place!

This was our first time having Albanian food and it was so delicious we came two days straight. Service is outstanding. They all help each other and very knowledgeable about the menu. Would definitely recommend this spot. The restaurant is super clean as well. Why go anywhere else lol

We went here on a chilly evening, after visiting the New York Botanical Garden Train Show. It was so warm and inviting inside. I don’t know a lot about Albanian food. The bread alone was worth the visit. Big pillows of warm, freshly baked bread. Delicious with roasted pepper and cream sauce. The decor is very interesting. The staff was exceptionally friendly. This was a nice change.

Everything here is delicious and reasonably priced! Emmi our server was also delightful and helped us through ordering (our first time having Albanian food)

If you wanna try something unique and new, then you should visit this restaurant. Cozy place, with lovely atmosphere, a little spirit of Europe! I like to try new flavor but here the food, like something I never tried before. I don’t know if it’s the seasoning or the pan they use for cooking & baking. The bread with dipping was amazing .Hot and fresh. The lamb meal for my kids, we ordered twice, I had the stuffed cabbage made with veal was very- very tasty! I love soups (especially fall and winter time) wish they had that night, but I’m gonna try next time .. Restaurant staff very kind,our server explained everything for us from the menu. Nothing crazy with the price..affordable restaurant! We are definitely gonna come back!

I think this neighborhood benefits from this amazing restaurant. It has a beautiful ambiance. It's like a museum or fort. The bread is fresh and delicious. It'd made in the oven to order. My beans were amazing. Tasty appetizers and meatballs. It's an upscale old world restaurant. The dessert was like tres Leche but better. Memorable dessert. Great staff.

Great atmosphere, server was friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the lamb. It was the most tender flavorful lamb I’ve had in a very long time.

This is one of the most incredible dining experiences I've ever had in my life! I could not stop eating. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The bread came out warm and steaming! This is probably the best authentic Albanian food you will get outside of Europe! I highly recommend making the drive out. It is worth it!!!

The rare find! True gem! Beautiful place with interesting history. Coming here you’ll learn about Albany so much, dive into the atmosphere and vibrant culture. People here meet you with true warmth of their hearts, take care about you and treat like home! Don’t remember when I enjoyed food so much! Must have the Albanian coffee! Ask to make it traditional. The place is very busy, don’t forget to make a reservation. Enjoy!!

Extremely delicious gem of a food spot in Little Italy (Bronx) with Albanian/Balkan food in a 19th century Albanian setting, taking both your tongue and body to the Balkans. Family owned and run by them. The Trilece (the original Balkan Tres leches) is one of the best things that I have ever had, delicious caramel on top of melt in your mouth cake that oozes milk as the fork goes through, yet isn't soggy and tastes amazing. The meats were also amazing and had insanely good flavor and texture. The piping hot bread, cheese and cabbage salad served on the side were also really good. Prices are decent for the quality and was definitely worth it. Ample indoor and some outdoor seating is available.

Great experience! We went to see the New York botanical gardens and found out this wonderful restaurant was not too far. Both experience combine makes it wonderful day up in the Bronx. The food here was amazing. I'm from San Diego and and I've never tried this cuisine but it was very enjoyable. I had a meet dip with fresh big bread right out of the oven. It was something similar to like a Mexican queso dip. I also had a yogurt dip with pastries filled with beef. Both were rich and satisfying. Hi marks for also the decor in the restaurant completely sweeps you away to another part of the world with articles and clothing and artifacts from the country. Background music was also authentic and very soothing.

Very impressed,from the moment we entered it felt like we were back home. The waiter was awesome he went above and beyond. Food was excellent,tried a lot of things from the menu. We will be going back to try some more traditional food off the menu

I love the decor where the waiters where the ancient Albanian clothing serving you delicious food that they have been eating from long ago. The decor is something out of an Albanian museum showing how they used to live and the cool machinery used. It’s like going to Europe.

The decor was along the lines of that of an Albanian museum of sorts. The food was extremely delicious. The service was perfect via our waiter Avni. Great guy with an even greater sense of humor. I can’t wait to go there again!
